He ran large genuine businesses. The company that went bust was Kingfisher airlines and it was by far the best airline India every had and will ever have. It went bust due to short sighted policies of the Indian government when jet fuel prices hit the sky. He offered a one time settlement to the banks which was the norm but 56 wanted to use him to make all other industrialists fall in line by instilling fear. Vijay Mallya was hounded out of India, all his assets which were 4 times more than the loan and interest were attached. Banks have repeatedly said they have got all their money back but yet the low IQ fools go on and on about returning money. I feel sorry for Vijay Mallya. Karnataka and Bangalore lost a truly remarkable son of the soil to the Gujju crook....
