@andrewklavan @RealMattFradd @SouthPark @SpencerKlavan Guys, we are not representing ourselves well in the comments here. I get that Klavan missed the point a little bit, but he also makes a good point. We need to relax. It’s not that deep. We don’t need to be snowflakes.

Dear Mormons, I’m not sorry. You know what you mean by “Divine” isn’t what everyone else means. I know it. You know I know it. This is called a lie by omission. You’re all coping that I said a true thing. Every Christian (which you are not) can read your corruption of the Gospel of St. John. You’re religion is a corruption. All of you lying by omission publicly and without missing a beat does not help you cause. It makes you look like dishonest snakes who want to deceive. Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto, Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen. Sincerely, Thursday

I don’t remember the examples. I think one was about the number of witnesses and another was on golden plates not being able to contain the Book of Mormon and be at the size witnesses described. I do remember watching a few clips/shorts, social posts, and the debate with Jacob. Every time I go to the comment section people correct inaccuracies but they continue to I’m lumping Matt and Trent together here.

@kylestenson1 @DBF090 What error specifically and how was it corrected? Also, you know what Trent does with his episodes, right?

Let's lighten up on the persecution complex a tad. Jacob Hansen spent almost an entire debate talking about how the Pope falsely claims to be the successor of Peter. Catholics rightly did not accuse him of hating Catholics. Now apply this same reasoning to people who publicly say they think Joseph Smith is a false prophet. See the problem? I'm not saying don't go after Matt Fradd or others. I'm saying go after them for the right reason. Labeling it hate is the lazy and inaccurate way to respond and it feeds the narrative that Latter-day Saints have a persecution complex. I am wrapping up an >3500-word script for a response video to Matt. I'm probably putting more effort into debunking his Joseph Smith article this than the rest of X combined. So by all means disagree with me, just don't accuse me of going soft on people I like without explaining yourself.

@LukeFHan @DBF090 You can’t really claim incompetence when he’s been corrected on his mistakes multiple times. Trent Horn does the same thing. They say something false or inflammatory, hundreds of people comment to correct their error but will disregard it and repeat the falsehood again.

@DBF090 @kylestenson1 I try to hold to the maxim "do not attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence" I also try to be charitable. Matt doesn't even represent the Catholic position well in his video. So I think incompetence is a much better explanation.

@DannyJBurnham You can condemn it all you want but what you did more effectively is show 1. your elementary level of understanding scripture. And 2. You heard your paid pastor make these weak arguments and brainlessly regurgitated them.

@GA14ChangeAgent @DannyJBurnham I added you're Christian? What if I said you had the gospel of a talking ass? A talking bush? She eats eating kids? You're arguing like an atheist. Shameful behavior.

Disappointed to see yet another act of normalization of Mormon hate within the Conservative movement. Leaving aside the religious bigotry, the LDS Church is the *MOST* Republican-leaning religious group in America. We should be thanking them, not mocking them.

Mormons: “We believe in the same God and Bible that Christians do.” Also Mormons: “Jesus is a created being.” “Him and Satan are spirit brothers.” “God has a physical body and was once a man who progressed to godhood.” “You can work to become a God, too.” It’s NOT the same!

The Mormon church does not want you to pray about what they have already told you God revealed to them because you cannot trust your own feelings....isn’t this what cult leaders do to brainwash their members into absolute self doubt and obedience?
Peacemaking Saint@PeacemakingSt

Elder Dale G Renlund (@DaleGRenlund) shared the framework for receiving personal revelation from God. This is an excerpt that every Latter-day Saint needs to hear. "When we ask for revelation about something for which God has already given clear direction, we open ourselves up to misinterpreting our feelings and hearing what we want to hear."

I'd argue we don't deviate from the Bible. Our position is your creeds speak things into the Bible that aren't there. We define Christianty as someone who believes in and follows Jesus Christ, which we do. We don't define it by metaphysics and aspousing the correct formulation of God in the Trinity.

@kylestenson1 @shane_pruitt78 Thanks for answering and not trying to gotcha. Be reminded, the visceral reaction to LDS is its initial rejection of biblical Christianity which y’all still espouse as evidenced by your exclusionary existence. And then you just want to say you’re Christians. Excuse our suspicion
