Over the weekend, I sent Droid on a Mission to create a home automation app. I wanted it to look like “xbox360 UI meets Spike Jonze's Her meets Liquid Glass” I told it find the devices on my network, loop me in when it needs help (IRL or w/ auth) and make a 3d mockup of my apt.

realllly want @FactoryAI @droid to have nano banana model. Obvi might not be possible, or I'm just using it wrong as is, but this would be a game changer for me cc @bentossell @EnoReyes

@bentossell What's the benefit of using pi or codex over droid? Would have thought you would use codex in droid. I'm curious about pi but happy enough with my workflow at this stage

my current setup; - droid/pi/codex - 5.4 default, opus for frontend + non code - cmux, multiple panes - telegram for my claw - droid missions for big work my “build loop” from my agents .md - create a /spec/ folder - numbered 00_spec1 - progress .md for progress thru implementation - test gate - use agent-browser with dogfood before sending me a url to test - debug until green exe for VMs trigger for automations react-doctor for react best practices here now for quick deployable urls vercel for any full stack deployments (and now domains)

One thing that I've not looked into to much is @FactoryAI droid headless mode. Is there a TLDR anywhere? @bentossell what I'm looking to do is run a subagent on a schedule, is that possible? Ideally it would be run remotely rather than on my maching which is shut ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@FactoryAI please rename /exit-mission to /end-mission or something.. When you /exit to quit, it comes before actual /quit. First world problem I know but such a ballache. Cc @bentossell who is all about efficieny with 3 under 3

openai should just acquire a ton of breakout open source projects they have a chance to really flip the community card for builders keeps momentum throughout the release cycles learn from community on the frontier, cherry pick bits for their own products default model to power the oss

Somewhere along the line, a default session model was set. Irritating as fuck as I burned loads token unnecessarily. Interestingly the hook (?) for the status line model still isn't working and defaults to the session model which has long been removed. Every bit of tech has kinks amirite
