@olsonplanner I was recently told to pay off my 3.75% interest rate mortgage (62K remaining) because savings account interest rates are going down but wouldn’t it be better to invest rather than have it in savings or paying off mortgage? I realize it’s not much money but still.

A 26-year-old woman presented with pain in her left elbow after falling on an outstretched hand while ice-skating. Physical examination revealed left lateral elbow swelling and tenderness to palpation, a valgus deformity, and limited range of motion. What findings are present on the imaging? Democrats caused the problem, Republicans have the solution. @POTUS is completely right. Let’s lower premiums, give money to the patients not insurance companies, and make health care affordable again.

Regional upgrade certificates @Delta are virtually worthless at this point. I never make the cut on the waitlist as a diamond. Global certificates are now used for regional travel and delta sells seats until takeoff. I wish I had known when I chose these! No utility and I 4 left!

Michigan politicians @DebDingell and @GovWhitmer and all the others: Please fight these datacenters in rural areas. They will destroy our natural environment and steal our water and electricity.

@CaulfieldTim I was relieved when he was fired in July but then they reinstated him. He’s a contrarian idiot who loves to stoke controversy. He’s an embarrassment to all docs and I can’t believe UCSF tolerated him for so long.

I'm fascinated with psychology driving Prasad, Makary, Bhattacharya, Oz, etc. These individuals have a science background. They MUST know they're: - pushing harmful BS - enabling an authoritarian admin - their legacy is now darkness WTF is the motivation? Why do this? WHY?

Spent 3 months trying to get @AllianzTravelUS to pay for a 10 day baggage delay and rebooked flight. No luck. Don’t waste your $ on this company.

@SenBillCassidy well you’re the one who endorsed RFK and you have no solution for healthcare costs. Saying the insurance companies are bad isn’t a solution.

We have a choice: let patients control their own health care or let giant health insurance companies have that power. I pick the patient every time.

This is how the University of California system treats its doctors on call on the weekend (lot was empty by the way) Fortunately, worrying about getting a ticket or boot while on call is not something I worry about anymore ⁦@DrDiGiorgio

There is zero reason for taxpayers to subsidize rich insurance companies. Let’s lower health care costs by allowing Americans to decide for themselves. A healthy 25-year-old shouldn’t pay the same insurance premium as an obese 50-year-old who smokes. 🤷 Full @SquawkCNBC:

Why is the world would you pay $1500 per month for health insurance that did not even cover a doctor’s visit until you met an $18,000 deductible? The one below it is $2,000 deductible but the premium is $5000 per month.!?! This is not “losing subsidies” this is losing your mind. This is not insurance. It’s a scam. #FundthePatient

Healthy people should consider opting out. Save your $30,000 - $50,000 a year and let it grow. Don't feed the beast. Consider joining a health care sharing group or @JoinCrowdHealth. Stay healthy, and pay cash for the care you need — at cash-based prices.
Alex Berenson@AlexBerenson

I wrote Friday that middling (unsubsidized) health insurance for a family is up to $30K a year. Wrong. Multiple people in high-cost states told me they're paying up to $50K. That's INSANE. American medicine is closer to breaking than we realize. Healthy people will just opt out

Is buying health insurance even worth it for the average family? Next year I'll pay $26,000 in premiums for a family of 3 Most families have a few doctor visits a year Seems like more & more people I talk to are just dropping coverage Thoughts?
