Bill Cassidy, conceding defeat, throws shade at Donald Trump: “When you participate in democracy, sometimes it doesn’t turn out the way you want it to. But you don’t pout. You don’t whine. You don’t claim the election was stolen.” His crowd immediately gets the reference.

@cwebbonline Kamala would never have gotten that passed just like Biden didn’t get the bill for $15,000 he ran on passed.

This Trump voter is struggling to realize her dream of buying a home, and she blames the “political higher ups.” Kamala Harris had a plan for first-time homebuyers, including $25,000 in down payment assistance. But she chose to vote for the man who said immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country.” Hard to feel bad for her.

@ltgovhashmi I don’t see any mention of the constitutional violations in your post. Raises serious concerns about transparency.

(1/2) Virginia voters made their voices heard, and they deserve a process that respects the will of the people. At a moment when trust in our democratic institutions is already being tested, unprecedented intervention at this scale raises serious concerns about transparency,

@Kristinartz I had homeroom in high school. We were there for 10 or 15 minutes for attendance to be checked and announcements before the bell rang for first period.

Democrats shut down @DHSgov, and now, members of the Coast Guard are using flashlights to light their homes, going into debt to follow orders. The @USCG has been forced to cancel "at least 30 national security exercises" ahead of major events like the World Cup. SICKENING!

Donald Trump is a convicted felon, a twice impeached president, and America’s chief insurrectionist. His name is unfit to honor our nation’s buildings. I am proud to introduce the PROTECT Act to stop Donald Trump from using taxpayer-funded buildings for his personal vanity projects, because New Yorkers deserve public spaces that they can respect, not monuments to tyranny and corruption.

@melrevision Are you really that stupid? The question you should be asking if you weren't so FKR biased is why didn't the Defense have their own witness to challenge Jessica Hyde and Ian Whiffin in the 2nd trial??? 🤔

Why was Jessica Hyde SO afraid to talk with Alan Jackson and Eliza Little? So many emails back and forth between Hyde, Tully, Proctor, etc. stating this is "highly unusual..." Paranoid much?

Oh look, Trump-deranged Pope Leo XIV has put out a statement against capital punishment right after President Trump comes out in favor of the firing squad for executions. Notice how he doesn't put out a statement against abortions! That would make his idol Obama upset!

Charging the Southern Poverty Law Center with a federal crime for paying informants to help dismantle hate groups is an outrageous weaponization of the Dept of Justice and the FBI. As someone who has been a prosecutor and has taken on the Klan I can tell you that use of paid informants is a common tactic used to dismantle drug cartels, the mob and extremist groups on both the right and the left. It is clear that all civil rights organizations are in the cross hairs of this Administration and that folks, puts everyone at risk.

Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) rightly responds to Tucker Carlson apologizing for supporting President Trump. Fine says Carlson “was” a big influencer but isn’t anymore. He says Tucker used to be “the most dangerous antisemite in America” but he no longer is because he’s “lost so much credibility within the party.” Fine says of Tucker, “Watching his sort of descent into the mental sickness that he has is very very sad.” The reporter tries to insist that Republicans still hang on Tucker’s every word, but Fine correctly says, “I don’t think that’s the case anymore.” Fine is one of the true MAGA politicians we have in Congress. He’s directly called out Ilhan Omar, Zohran Mamdani, and other Islamists trying to undermine America. He’s America-First all the way and unapologetically for mass deportations. We need more people like Fine in government. (TMZ on 𝕏)

The funniest thing about Tucker Carlson apologizing for supporting President Trump is that Carlson thinks that’s a bad thing for Trump. It’s the opposite—at least as far as MAGA is concerned. Carlson’s ego is on full display here and it’s quite hilarious: “You and I and everyone else who supported him—you wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him—we’re implicated in this for sure. It’s not enough to say, ‘I changed my mind.’ Or like, ‘This is bad, I’m out.’ It’s like in very small ways, but in real ways, you and me and millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now. So, I do think it’s a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. We’ll be tormented by it for a long time. I will be. And I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people. It was not intentional. That’s all I’ll say.” Get over yourself, Carlson. You had your moments to shine. But then you revealed yourself to be a dimwit. (TuckerCarlson on 𝕏)

Perhaps the McAlberts choosing a woman, Kate Peter, with a near decade-long case of TBDS, as their primary spokeswoman was a mistake. “I don’t find her to be the kind of person I can trust about whether or not it’s raining outside.” - Ian Runkle.
