On a déjà vu ce genre de chose : Hariana Veras, Van Botten… Tous revendiqueraient volontiers des origines congolaises juste pour exploiter au maximum et le plus vite possible, tant que c’est encore faisable 🤣 Quand un pays est dans le chaos, les opportunistes agissent pendant que les idiots restent aux manettes. @MikeTyson ne peut pas s’en empêcher. Ça ne marche qu’avec Tshisekedi 🤣 Ailleurs, ce genre de combines est verrouillé depuis longtemps. Mais quand tout est permis et rien n’est contrôlé, chacun tente sa chance.

It’s becoming a troubling pattern that anyone looking to profit from Congo simply claims Congolese origins to justify their involvement. Even more concerning, the same actors reportedly pitched this proposal to another country first, and only turned to Congo after it was rejected there🤔This raises serious questions about intent, credibility, and respect for the country’s interests😄

Today, Minister Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Albert Murasira, together with @rnyirishema, Executive Chairperson of @RwandaWater, visited the Nyabarongo II Multipurpose Project to assess progress and engage with implementers. Discussions emphasized the need to integrate disaster risk reduction and prevention measures across all project phases. The construction team welcomed the visit, reaffirmed the project’s resilience to disaster risks, and committed to implementing the recommendations provided. The visit follows last week’s field visit to Muhanga District, where the Minister assessed the status of the Nyabarongo I Hydropower Project along the Nyabarongo River, focusing on associated risk mitigation measures, as well as progress on the Mubuga TVET construction in Karongi District under the Jya Mbere Project (Socio-Economic Inclusion of Refugees and Host Communities).

The graduates include five female officers. Today at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Headquarters in Juba, Rwandan peacekeepers, together with their fellow contingents from Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, and Nepal, assembled in a military parade to honor the change-of-command ceremony, marking the assumption of duty by Major General Junhui Wu as the newly appointed Force Commander of UNMISS.
