మద్యం తాగి వాహనం నడిపినంత మాత్రాన ఆ వాహనాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకోవడం గానీ, సీజ్ చేసే అధికారం పోలీసులకు లేదని హైకోర్టు స్పష్టం చేసింది.
వాహనదారుడు మత్తులో ఉంటే, అతని బంధువులకు లేదా స్నేహితులకు సమాచారం అందించి వాహనాన్ని అప్పగించాలని సూచించింది.
ఒకవేళ ఎవరూ లేకపోతే మాత్రమే తగిన జాగ్రత్తలతో వాహనాన్ని పోలీస్ స్టేషన్కు తరలించాలని పేర్కొంది.

The shameless attack on Congress leader Pawan Khera by the BJP only speaks of their arrogance and guilt. Every congress person, indeed every Indian who believes in our constitution and understands that raising questions and challenging power is the basis of a strong democracy stands by him as his home is ransacked and he is hunted down by a Chief Minister who has lost his moral right to govern.

This highly abominable, unacceptable, derogatory remarks by Assam Chief Minister shri @himantabiswa reveals a deeply inhuman, racist and casteist mindset.
To insult one of the senior most leaders of the country, the national president of the largest opposition party on the verge of elections, clearly unnerved by the poll prospects have to be condemned by every single citizen of India.
Shri Mallikarjun @kharge ji is one of tallest leaders of India, and a statesman of several decades of standing. Sarma ji must immediately offer unconditional apologies.
I also demand that Prime Minister
shri @narendramodi Ji take immediate action against him.

We request immediate provision of adequate security to Congress leader @Pawankhera who is reportedly receiving threats from the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
There appears to be a serious threat to Pawan Khera’s safety and life, as Himanta Biswa public remarks suggesting physical harm to be made (pelunga) to Opposition leader. Such statements raise grave concerns about the security of political leaders and the need to uphold democratic norms.
We urge you to take swift action to ensure his safety and prevent any untoward incident.

Begumpet, until the mid-2000s, was one of the most happening areas. Begumpet Airport, Lifestyle building with Music World, My Home Tycoon, Country Club, Ramada Manohar, Bottles & Chimneys (often featured in Deccan Chronicle Page 3), 10 Downing Street, Coffee day, Green Park Hotel (Club Escape), and ITC Kakatiya(Dublin), everything was centered here.
I also remember software companies like Intergraph, Sonata Software, Satyam Computers, and Virtusa (in My Home Tycoon) operating from this area.
One of my favorite restaurants was Malgudi in My Home Tycoon, with great ambience and very good South Indian food, including Tamil Nadu and Kerala dishes.

Begumpet gets it's name from Basheer Ul-Unnisaa Begum, the daughter of the 6th Nizam who got this land as part of her wedding dowry. Much before Cyberabad took shape, this was Hyderabad's IT Hub. Most of the early IT firms set up shop here. During the 80s, 90s and early 2000s this was the Madhapur- Gachibowli of those times. It had cafes, restaurants, ice cream joints, clubs. Country Club was a happening place for all kinda functions. Before the Mall explosion, you had Lifestyle and Shoppers Stop. And this was where you boarded your flights before Shamshabad happened. Even now it still remains a commercial hub. Not to mention all the iconic landmarks here Hyderabad Public School, Paigah Palace, Spanish Mosque.
