@British_Airways So after being evacuated during the Rhodes wildfires, we had a call to say our suitcases were found and brought back to the hotel. The BA rep I spoke with said they had no idea on the process of getting these back to the the UK. What do we do? Who do I speak with

He was actually laughing. I have never seen more droconial scenes. Guests were eating inside while staff guarded the doors and evacuees drooled through the window. Stale bread was given to a young mum and her daughter.

The manager at #AtriumPrestigeThalassoSpaResort arguing with travellers about the lack of food or water provided. They argued adequate good was provided, the hundreds of hungry guests would counter that.

2 thirds have left and it is still absolute chaos, noone, including the drivers know where the buses are going. #AtriumPrestigeThalassoSpaResort wouldn't even offer a bottle of water or any food. Qued for 2 hours to buy a bottle of water in 40 degrees.

@stevefinch02 @GemmaPeckham @BBCNews Absolute Norbert. "just move north of the island". The roads are closed. Young families are stuck in the heat and this hotel wouldn't even provide water or food. We are reliant on travel agencies who do not provide updates. It is extremely confusing times.

@GemmaPeckham @BBCNews Read the news !, flights are being cancelled, wait , have patience and it will be sorted. Why would any pilot and airline risk lives and plane's to rush to collect you ? Just move to the north of the island and stop whinging

@danielletodd87 I don't understand why they aren't cancelling flights, it is absolutely carnage here, and I spoke with the foreign office and they said the airport is even worse and they are getting no information from the Greek authorities, so they have no clue what is going on.
