I used to think it was a weird form of fashion, but I now tend to think that many 'slebs just don't have a proper grounding in reality any more. They're likely sincere, but woefully misguided. I don't feel remotely sorry for them, but I do feel sorry for their children, who don't have a sensible adult to guide them through difficult times.

Give Deezer a go. I just cancelled my Spotify subscription and switched (a) because it has better sound quality and, more importantly (b) they pay artists far more per play. This is an eye-opener

By the way recently I tried to switch over to Apple Music because someone told me the sound quality was better than Spotify. And while I'm not a big stereonerd I do prefer to hear the music the way the artist wants it to be heard. So I switched over only to discover the UI is STILL a complete fucking mess. We used to joke about how it was Steve Jobs' revenge on music and maybe it was, but now he's out of the picture, maybe someone could fix it? Why are we still buying Apple products if they're not improving basic services like that? I'm sure even Jobs would finally agree with the basic wisdom of that.
