@Math_files Based on the wording I would say the student is correct the only thing I would say is they may have intended the wording to be different I would have probably given the student credit

Ok. Vulnerable post but here we are. I just weighed in at 141.4 lbs. Since Sept 2024 to today, May 15, 2026, I have lost 100lbs. It hurts to say that and share but I am going to share it because I worked so damn hard every week for over a year and a half to shed this weight. It did not happen overnight. If it wasn’t for having this incredibly challenging goal in fighting @rondarousey I most definitely wouldn’t have reached this. I was pre-diabetic, had trouble simply walking in September 2024 and have been on the path to recovery to turn myself back into an athlete since then. It was hard, SO damn hard.. there was so much to learn, too much to unpack here, ups, downs, plateaus, things I learned late I wish I learned earlier, trial by error but I did it. Thank you to Ronda, who waited patiently while I lost this weight and giving me something to aim for. There is still so much I need to learn and want to do in the health space and to continue transforming my body, but for today, I thank God, my husband and my family for sticking with and encouraging me the whole way. I pray this encourages you wherever you are in your health journey. Believe there is hope. Never give up. Ok.. enough emo, I’ve got a fight tomorrow. We’ve worked so hard to get here. Tune in!! @netflixsports @netflix @MostVpromotions

Dear men, As a general rule, if you make sex enjoyable for your wife, she will want more of it. There are exceptions to the rule, (trauma histories, medical issues, intimacy breakdowns, etc), but broadly speaking, this is a good place to start. If she knows you’re approaching sex as something to which you are entitled as opposed to an opportunity to bless, it’s probably not going to inspire feelings of romance.

@domehats Every losing side of every confict since the dawn of time has been a loss based on math and technology. I'd point out your poor reduction of my point as "the Pythagorean Theorem" as a Reductio Ad Absurdum. I'd explain, but it's not bumper sticker logic suitable for a hat.

@coachwwest I fully agree completely. We should eliminate the program completely from high school, focusing entirely on academics. If students or parents want sports leagues, they should be paying for them out-of-pocket.

@MrDanielBuck When I was in 4th grade in the ‘60’s, my teacher, Mrs.Hyatt made me stand in the hall for whispering to my classmate to stop copying from me.I was tearing up in the hall, Principle came by,took me to his office, gave me Necco candies.Still think about how safe I felt

I’ve can do this easily - end EVERY consultant and outside provider (except for special education services) contract immediately. Promise you in that district it’s around 5 million dollars. After that, cut one administrator from EVERY school that has more than a Principal and AP, and finally cut 10% of personnel from EVERY central office division. There. Problem solved. It’s actually not that hard.

@KaeleyT This reads like wives should only be intimate with their husbands if she wants to, and that husbands need to earn it.

@KaeleyT Maybe wives should earn conversation the way you think husband need to earn sex. Suck a dong you get to complain about your day. Sex talk about something emotional. I mean since you clearly only care about your own needs. Selfish hag.

No, you are not being abused if your wife doesn’t want to have sex with you. Be serious. Maybe there’s an intimacy breakdown that’s partially your fault. Maybe she’s processing sexual trauma. Maybe it’s physically painful for her. Man up. Stop playing the victim like a petulant child. Tend to her heart and cultivate emotionally intimacy, and see what happens.

@logicalandmath @HannahWardEdu I’m sure you can read the part where I said parents do have blame. But if kids are spending 40+ hours a week in daycare and prek programs, we need to enforce potty training requirements in those places where it’s age appropriate so the milestones are met before it’s a K issue.

This school board just unanimously voted that toilet training other people's children is now a staff responsibility at their public schools. Not kids who need special accommodations. ALL the kids. What is a parent's job now exactly? What can parents reliably be expected to do?

@logicalandmath We will have to agree to disagree. I apply many more lessons I learned on that field and from my coach than I did in a class room learning the Pythagorean theorem to my daily life.

I disagree completely. Sports are not some disposable add-on to education. They teach discipline, accountability, teamwork, resilience, leadership, and how to respond when things do not go your way. For a lot of kids, athletics are a major part of how they grow into adults. Schools should be investing in that, not abandoning it.

@coachwwest Schools are meant for academics. You can make this argument "What about" for anything. What about students who don't have dinner? What about students whose parents don't have jobs? What about? What about? What about? The argument is banal.

@logicalandmath So what about the children and families that can’t afford to pay to play a sport? Should it be treated as an unnecessary luxury, and they be left behind?

The average high school head football coach stipend is around $7,000. Fluctuating heavily For that, they’re expected to coach year-round, run a program, mentor kids, manage parents, recruit their own halls, fundraise, break down film, coordinate staffs, and be available almost 24/7. Football coaches are grossly underpaid for what we ask of them.

@princessbrulee @HannahWardEdu There's a reason why it's easy and the reason why it's easy is because it is the parents fault. It is 100% their responsibility to make sure that their kids know how to piss and shit. It's a basic body function. Make teachers drive to the house and Prepare dinner? Lazy parents!!

@HannahWardEdu It’s easy to blame parents and they certainly hold a good amount of blame here. But don’t forget - there’s more kids in preschool than ever before. There’s a failure happening in those classrooms as well that needs to be identified because potty training in K cannot happen.

Teachers: If you could remove the one student in each class who drains the most of your time and energy, would you become a more effective teacher? Or would another student simply become the new “problem child”?

@Nerdcognito I use it but Sometimes it depends on what is going on. Sometimes I don't use it because the player's reputation precedes them and it's not logical to surrender to someone that is known for killing prisoners.

Morale still matters! Classic Gaming & D&D's morale rules seem all but forgotten by the modern gamer. This mechanic lets monsters flee or surrender realistically instead of fighting to the death like WotC and Paizo prefer. Do you use morale? What's your best morale tale?
