Canada you’re a complete embarrassment. In the US last night, the Americans sang the Canadian national anthem. In Canada, we booed. I’m disgusted with your behaviour.

This is one of the worst things I’ve ever read. 48 women reported their neurologist for sexual assault, but the male judge sided with the male doctor. This was a neurologist who was doing vaginal exams, but the judge decided that was completely normal, even though another (female) doctor testified that no, it definitely wasn’t.
Canadian Femicide Observatory 🇨🇦@CAN_Femicide

It requires re-posting - long post. Share among your networks and re-post. Please read to end then contact your local, provincial, or federal leader/representative [Link to news story at end] Male judge Craig Parry (Kitchener) acquits neurologist of 48 counts of sexual assault against 48 female patients. Yes, that's right - 48 female patients came forward. 48 female patients were not believed. 48 female patients apparently deemed unreliable Male judge discounts expert testimony of Dr. Vera Bril - yes, female doctor and expert - who told the court that it is not norm to do vaginal exams, breast exams or exams of other intimate areas during appointments for neurological concerns. Go figure! However, male judge knows better than female doctor/expert. He finds the evidence of 48 women unreliable. He acquits male accused anyway, despite the 'doctor' having had license revoked in 2019 by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Looking for any male who has had a prostate exam when they went to doctor for neurological concerns. We'd love to year from you. What happened during the acquittal of Jeffrey Sloka? ctvnews.ca/kitchener/arti…

@MarioNawfal this is not a security failure, its an inside job. No way someone walks into the Whitehouse with a briefcase carrying a disassembled weapon and gets access to unmonitored, unsecured rooms.

@KirstiMiller30 @jk_rowling @Riley_Gaines_ Fun Fact: trans women are a safety risk to any woman or girl. They steal medals because they cant compete with fellow men. They demand to win like at the Winter Olympics but their tantrums dont impress the jury.

A FUN FACT~ You never hear @jk_rowling Sharron (Karen) Davies or @Riley_Gaines_ talk about this⬇️ More female gymnasts have been prescribed puberty blockers than trans kids have. Reports suggest that some elite female gymnasts and figure skaters have used hormone-blocking medication to delay puberty, aiming to maintain a slim, youthful body type for competition. While some claim these drugs are used to avoid body changes that affect performance, others attribute the delayed development to extreme training and low caloric intake. @HelenWebberley @IndiaWilloughby google.com/url?sa=i&sourc…
Kirsti Miller@KirstiMiller30

Sharron Davies claimed trans women have an advantage in gymnastics 😂 You see lots of 6 foot gymnastics competitors on the balance beam at the Olympic Games. The advantages that XX gymnastic competitors have over XY  are salient to Sharron’s argument that ”trans women gymnasts have a blanket advantage” - XX Women. XX women outperform men on items such as fexibility (Rene’, 1984). At a population level untrained c_s women outperform men with balance(Torres, Reis & Abreu, 2014).  Endurance is also higher & recovery is quicker in XX than in XY due to higher proportion of type 1 muscle fibers; Haizlip, Harrison & Leinwand, 2015. This performance advantage is important, since individual variation is higher than the variation between genders, and individuals with high level of type 1 muscle fibers gravitate towards endurance sports. Also Women have increased glycogen sparing fat oxidation during endurance exercise (Tarnopolsky, 2008). Women experience higher perfusion, ECV and MBV at stress (Nick ander etal., 2020). youtu.be/B8CzqxhZk7I?si… transresearch.org.au/post/trans-wom…

@theNOBSdentist @PerpFiend It's not true. Adhesive wears off and they can slip off. It's a horrible feeling, suddenly you have your "tooth" rolling around in your mouth. If you don't break it, you can get it glued back on. You have dreams about your teeth falling out. Yes, they look nice, but not perfect.

I’ve been tagged in this a bunch. You have to understand that net worth doesn’t really mean much when it comes to motivation to have nice teeth. One of 3 things: 1) they are healthy and he doesn’t care what they look like 2) his bite is so restrictive that any work would break so there’s no point to fix it cosmetically, would need full rehab which has its own risks and demands 3) he is so neurodivergent that he doesn’t care about money, looks, or anything except his mission/company. In this case it’s likely an even split in terms of probabilities, maybe a combination.

My mum went to the doctor today in Australia and while there received a thorough check-up, a Pap smear, a referral for a mammogram, another for a bone density scan and another for a skin cancer check, a complete set of blood tests, a prescription for a minor ailment, a booking for a flu shot and another for a shingles shot. And the whole shebang cost her a grand total of about $20, which was to fill the prescription. Everything else was free. Stay mad, American losers. #ShitholeCountry

@eejaysea @frozenaesthetic Virtually the same, dominant left handed writing, unless I'm writing on a chalkboard, I do that right handed, so I won't drag my hand through and smudge. I play pool/snooker left handed, and while I throw a curling rock right, I sweep left.

I am this. However… I wonder how this I am. You see I write and draw with my left hand but everything else I seem to have adapted right-handedness to. Such as playing the guitar, scissors, pool/snooker, throwing, tennis, cricket and even football I am right footed. Anyone else have the slight touch of being sinister?

Left handed people existing breaks a rule in evolution that nobody can explain Only about 10% of the population is left handed and that number has stayed the same for 10,000 years It never goes up and never goes down Evolution isn't meant to work like that, traits spread because they are useful or die off because they aren't Left handedness doesn't do either and stays the same percentage across every culture, country and population They process fear differently and react faster to danger than right handed people They are different neurologically and slightly overrepresented in certain criminal populations and significantly overrepresented among US presidents The trait seems to produce extremes Ancient cultures were afraid of them, the word "sinister" originates from the Latin word "sinistra" which means "left" or "on the left side" 10% There's always 10% Never more It was decided that was the exact number needed in the population

@megbyr @myizonorion @BMeiselas And I'm not knocking the income. During covid, I was in the same boat, on only Medicaid (not old enough for medicare), but my care was never a fight and was excellent. The system worked.

@megbyr @myizonorion @BMeiselas I hope your Dad has recovered well. I am also saying at $22000 a year income these people are also on Medicaid. Between Medicaid AND Medicare, you don't have to ask too hard. (Of course it also depends on your State and what resources you have, if you live in rural area, etc.)

The helium collapse accelerates. All mass spec labs are about to go dark. Medical imaging, too, for those instruments that use helium. My lab has a 1-year supply of helium in place, because I saw this coming and ordered my analysts to stock up in early March. Apparently we got the last available "extra" helium in the supply chain. Now it's scarcity and, soon, panic.
Roger@rdd147

US helium distributors switch to “call for availability” on shortages. Most US helium has now been diverted to Taiwan on contracts signed two weeks ago. Medical Imaging will now take you 6 months plus to schedule as hospitals shift to referrals outside for imaging.

Canada didn't end his life. He chose to do it with dignity. Would you have preferred using the family shotgun and going to the shed? I see you're a dual citizen. Might surprise you to know America also has assisted suicide. Sorry for your loss, but glad they aren't suffering
