@DrMarkOng Hello Mark. I have a similar case. It's about a gastric biopsy of a child. There are a lot of cells with granules, and the granules are also present within the lumen of the glands. Is there any clinical significance known so far?

There were also biopsies from the antrum. In addition to the intestinal metaplasia, there are more of these lysozyme-secreting cells. Strange how you cannot "see" something because you don't realise it exists.

Elderly adult with hyperplastic polyp in the pylorus. What sort of epithelium are the ones with both eosinophilic granules and mucin? Granules too small to be Paneth cells. I think it's some sort of weird foveolar/parietal hybrid cell as it has an apocrine-like caps. #GIpath
