@BBCWorld This little girl, like so many girls in 🇦🇫, lives in a world without hope. 🇦🇫 must be shunned by all nations until women & girls are once again treated there as human beings.

@JayGenXer Community note draws attention the fact that MAID wasn’t allowed in this instance, which arose in 2022. My astonishment relates to suggestion that anyone would ever have suggested it.

🚨 BREAKING: Canada’s MAiD euthanasia machine just hit rock bottom. A Quebec physician has formally suggested assisted suicide for infants — babies from birth to one year old with severe deformities and syndromes. Parents “should have the opportunity” to have their newborn killed. Federal committees are now pushing to expand MAiD to “mature minors” (children), where a doctor — not the parents — decides if the kid can “consent” to their own death. Ontario’s Chief Coroner confirms hundreds of MAiD deaths are driven by poverty, loneliness, and lack of housing — not terminal illness. People are being offered lethal injection because they feel like a burden. This isn’t healthcare.
This is a moral horror show. Years of Liberal-NDP rule have turned Canada into one of the most dangerous places on Earth for the vulnerable — from newborns to the poor. Danielle Smith is fighting this insanity in Alberta. The rest of the country needs to wake the hell up before it gets even worse. Watch the full press conference 👇 #MAiD #EuthanasiaCanada #cdnpoli #ProtectOurKids #CanadaIsBroken #LiberalFailure

This is utterly reckless and dangerous. A 14 yr old girl should not have to share toilets with 18 yr old boys. Be it the shared sink area or a nearby cubicle. Girls are already reporting feeling vulnerable and intimidated, yet schools in Ireland are steamrolling ahead with these mixed sex facilities without proper consultation with parents. We’ve seen this pattern before. This forced down ideology that ignores child safeguarding. Single-sex spaces exist for a reason. Our school girls deserve to feel safe and respected at school. We saw the Giggle V Tickle ruling in Australia and the chaos that has arisen because of gender ideology. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is about inclusion. Should inclusion come at the expense of girls attending state schools? Parents are not bigots for wanting their daughters to be safe in school and to feel comfortable and respected.

Famed LGBTQIA+ activist Peter Tatchell has spent his entire adult life trying to lower the age of consent, especially for boys. His claim is that he wishes to avoid seeing young couples criminalized for having sex. This is odd, as Mr. Tatchell has known for at least the last 6 years that the Home Office has absolutely no interest in punishing teenagers for having sex. The total absence of any charges filed against young couples for consensual sexual activity is yet more proof that Tatchell has nothing to fear on that front — and yet he continues to press for laws that will “coincidentally” allow adult men to have sex with 14 year old boys. Tatchell has a bit of a fixation on 14 year old boys, as we shall see. If this activism were the only red flag, I might overlook it — but Mr. Tatchell also has a long history of making comments in support of child sexual abuse. That he frames this abuse he supports as consensual does not make it less abusive. Tatchell wrote a now-infamous letter to the Guardian (see below), in which he stated that “not all sex involving children is abusive and harmfu. In this letter, he also spoke in approving terms of a pederastic ritual that once took place among the Sambia tribe in New Guinea. This ritual involved the physical and sexual abuse of boys as young as 7, including starvation, beatings, and forced fellatio. The Sambia themselves have abandoned the practice, recognizing the harm it caused, and the anthropologist who wrote of it was blunt about the coercive and violent nature of the ritual. None of that deterred Mr. Tatchell from labeling this behavior as “normal, beneficial, and enjoyed by young and old alike.” But Tatchell did not stop there. Challenged by appalled responses to his letter, he doubled down and reiterated that not all adult/child sex is abusive and harmful. Even in an attempt to whitewash his earlier letter, he was unable to say clearly than adults should never rape children. Tatchell also contributed a chapter to a book called “Betrayal of Youth,” a collection of essays that were written almost exclusively by known pedophiles, and edited by another known pedophile, Warren Middleton. Not content with contributing, Tatchell also penned a glowing review of Middleton’s book — a book which includes a graphic and eroticized description of a public and incestuous sex act carried out by a pair of 8 year old boys. The rest of the essays are less graphic, but more direct; they were clearly written by men who wish to convince readers that the sexual abuse of children is beneficial to its victims. Tatchell would later claim not to have read the book at all, or to have known what it was about, in spite of contributing to it. Finally, Tatchell’s own website hosts an extremely disturbing account of an interaction he claims to have had with a 14 year old boy. In this account, “Lee” is 14, and has been sexually abused since he was 12 — although Tatchell frames it as consensual sex with “older guys.” Throughout the essay, Tatchell goes to great lengths to describe Lee as mature, almost an adult, and Lee’s abusers as his “boyfriends.” These are the words which Tatchell has put in the mouth of this 14 year old victim: “I like men in their 20s and early 30s. They are more experienced and serious. With them, you can get into a close relationship than with a teenager.” For most pedophiles, the greatest fantasy is that of the willing child. These men imagine having loving, adult relationships with their young victims — but in real life, there is nothing romantic or loving when an adult is abusing a child. If Lee was real (and I hope he was not) then he desperately needed the intervention of a responsible adult. He got Tatchell. This child told Peter Tatchell that he’d been victimized at age 12, and is continuing to be victimized today. Tatchell’s response? To go out and spend his life trying to make it easier for all of the men who want to abuse the boy.

How is someone who believes the definition of ‘a woman’ includes men going to effectively safeguard women receiving healthcare, protect single sex spaces for patients and staff and improve maternity care, breast/cervical screening and gynaecology care across the NHS?

@SteveChalke You need to carefully describe ‘trans’ ‘conversion practices’ so that all may avoid falling foul of the new law. Can we ignore them; can we laugh? Are we allowed to offer a pretty new skirt to a toddler girl or toy truck to a toddler boy (whose parents present them otherwise)?

From the King’s Speech: “My Government will bring forward…a draft Bill to ban abusive conversion practices.” This time let’s make it count & finally put an end to the coercion & repression which creates lasting damage to the wellbeing & mental health of so many LGBT+ people.

@flowergirl_lon Where are the emergency Social Services Adult Learning Disability team? Have they been made aware? Someone speak to his MP, local council and the Down’s Syndrome Ass who will give advice in a hurry. There are many organisations who will give urgent help, but they need to know!

@AdrianFry23 @amy_sargeant_ And I did not say otherwise, merely choosing to add my voice to your own… I and very many other women want clarity that it’s enough to seek single sex spaces, without pleading special circumstances. Go well.

Moments after court adjourned, Sall Grover ran to her dad and started sobbing into his shoulder. The law is very clear: discrimination against trans women is not acceptable. Thanks to all involved for reaffirming this in such a powerful way. #TickleVGiggle

Starmer’s just appointed James Murray as the new Health Secretary the man now running the entire NHS. And this is how he defines a woman when a actual woman challenges him: Woman: “Do you think it’s a bit strange that you’re a man telling me, a woman, what a woman is?” Murray: “I think a woman is an adult female and a trans woman.” Woman: “An adult female… and an adult male?” Murray: “You and I disagree on this.” Let that sink in. The bloke in charge of women’s wards, maternity care, single-sex spaces, rape crisis services, and NHS safeguarding can’t or won’t admit that women are adult human females. Full stop. This isn’t nuance. It’s dangerous ideological capture at the highest level of healthcare. How the hell is he going to protect women’s rights and safety when he thinks biological males can be women? This appointment is a disgrace. Women’s health and dignity are not up for debate or “disagreement.” We’re watching you, Secretary Murray. Closely.

Parents of trans kids who insist on sleeping in the same room with girls, need to teach their biological males that many girls don’t feel safe in that situation. The trans kid should not take it personal. He/she needs to understand, convey empathy and be respectful of other people’s needs for safety. Forcing girls to sleep in the same room with trans kids is potentially putting them at risk and causing them to be fearful. It’s not just about the trans kid’s feelings or rights. It’s about everyone’s feelings and rights.

You missed the fact that school officials deceived this young girl and her parents, promising them that boys and girls would sleep on separate floors. It wasn’t until this 11-year-old girl was on the trip—far from home—that she discovered her expected bedmate was a boy. She was then forced to stand up against school authorities and defend her own privacy in the moment, late at night. They initially treated her as if her concerns were not legitimate, moving her to a different bed in the room. This backfired when the other roommates wanted the boy to move beds too. So this little girl had to muster the courage to voice her concerns a second time. The school finally relented and moved her to another room, but told her to lie about the reason why. Any reasonable person can see how outrageous this is. No child should have to defend her own privacy against a school policy that puts her in jeopardy. And no school district should make it a policy to deceive parents. Furthermore: not all kids have the ability or opportunity to stand up for themselves. Another family in our lawsuit has a son whose sleeping arrangements and showers were supervised by a female (identifying as non-binary) at a week-long school camp. Several of the boys were so uncomfortable that they skipped showers and changed their clothes inside their sleeping bags. This is inexcusable. It is adults’ responsibility to stand up for children—not children’s responsibility to stand up for themselves. This could easily be avoided with a commonsense policy that allows parents to stay informed and opt their children out of mixed-sex sleeping arrangements ahead of time—protecting the privacy of ALL children involved. But despite our requests, the school district repeatedly refused to do this. So yes, we sued. In fact, let me put every district in America on notice right now: if you treat students and parents this way, prepare for a lawsuit.
Matty@stealth_riot

Girl was uncomfortable sharing a room w a trans girl, the school says okay and moves her to another room away from the trans kid respecting her wishes and boundaries. Parents sue anyways?? Tf do these people want? “Kids deserve privacy” SHE GOT THE PRIVACY SHE WANTED.
