@OILfanincowtown Righttttt…..win pacific, B2B SCF and the coach with the highest winning % in oiler franchise, you’d fire him. Sounds like a solid strategy.
@EdmontonJack Jack…you’re a gem!
It amazes me how many “fans” do nothing but crap on the team. And don’t get me started about the podcasters I’d pay Stauffer to bounce from our fandom.
Some have forgotten the Oilers were a .500 club for the last 2.5 months last year.
Proclaiming “this isn’t their year” makes zero sense. Like last season (when EDM won 13/15 in the playoffs), if it comes together, watch out.
Recent W’s in Denver & SLC show it’s still there.
@JasonGregor They need a new coach.
They don't have the talent to win without help from more kids than just Savoie, and they have a coach who won't give the kids enough runway to get where Savoie is now.
They are wasting another year of McDavid
The Oilers Jekyll and Hyde routine has been frustrating to watch. Their level of play has fluctuated wildly, but recent performances against Utah, Colorado and Vegas show that when they decide to commit to playing their system, they are quite good.

@Jimmybohimmy 100% I appreciate Knoblauch’s calm, confident, analytical and communicative approach. He’s proven he’s a trusted coach through decades of climbing the minor’s ladder and winning.
Jon Cooper most educated fans are aware of how respected he is . Imagine if Lightning let him go in 2017...
Edmonton Oilers need consistency, Knoblauch is a good coach to hold on to for a while. The rest of you can take a walk.
Kris plays?
I get your wider point but when the team wins, you hear people like Bob Stauffer say the team emasculates the coaches calm, collected approach, hard to get rattled.
When the team loses, fans want his head.
I love my team. I love going to the game at home. It’s one of them most electric atmospheres I’ve ever experienced. But holy moly, the fans online can be truly insufferable at times. You can’t be everything to everyone.
