Breaking news: The Trump administration does not plan to seek approval from Congress for President Trump’s planned 250-foot arch, arguing that they do not need it because lawmakers a century ago authorized a somewhat similar project that was never built. wapo.st/4dD92xG

You live in a world of fully rational people who all make the correct decision. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button do they press?

@reyes_01010 @selfmaxxer @JeauFCB i agree. if children are involved, im going blue. many people have this mindset. 50% easy no problem. now the question is what happens if its 18+ year olds who are competent and arent suicidal. and only they are included, not anyone else. so children arent at risk etc

Blue = suicide button that FORCES HALF OF THE POPULATION TO RISK IT ALL TO SAVE YOUR DUMB ASS. Red = nobody plays the game Blue is selfish at its core. If you care about people, you would tell them to press red for themselves instead of joining the mass suicide.
𝓸𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓪@oliviamotee

all the worst people in the universe deliberately miswording the question and choosing red in the replies/quote tweets unless you value your own life more than that of billions of people as well as many of those you love, blue is the obvious answer

@TheCartoonLoon 25% of world population are kids below 15 8% under 5 Let's say there are 20% who can't understand Randomly 10% of kids will press blue Is it better for society to risk 39% of population to save 10% of the least useful and most easily replaceable?

I never said that blue voters cant trust people? I said young Children won't understand the fucking question and just smash red or blue randomly
Error302@Error3022

@TheCartoonLoon people will say shit like this and then turn around and go "red voters are untrustworthy and can't live in a high trust society" meanwhile you are literally saying blue voters should not trust anyone.

@joshscorcher and so far not a single blue presser has been able to make a coherent argument why red pressers should switch. The side of 'empathy' seems to have none. All they need to do is form a coherent case for blue winning. No guilt trip, no threats. Can you assure them blue wins?

@LumLotus Literally whats not to get? Red = Guaranteed Survival. 0 Risk Blue = 50/50 Gamble, where you might die, and Red lives on regardless. And yeah "Risking your life for others" The issue is, the more people who press Blue without reaching the 50% required, is more deaths

@RealSpitfire There are like a hundred different protestant denominations for you to choose from. Why don't you try out one of your fancy American mega churches with a pastor who has never attened a seminar in his life flying around the hall?

One reason Poland is the growth champion and Germany the sick man of Europe is productivity growth. Poles understand that they need to work hard for a better life. Many Germans follow left narratives of “tax the rich” and look for government jobs instead of starting a business.

@KellyKullberg @megbasham Again, your evangelical site won’t be better at catholic bible teachings than the Pope. The Pope is not telling you how to best make it look like you’re actually flying through your megchurch, so perhaps stay in your lane as well.

I am not trying to make my Catholic friends, who I love, angry with this statement. But this entire episode is starting to explain to me why so many Americans were concerned about a Catholic president for so long. I have no interest in Rome trying to dictate American policy. And if it continues to loudly make its opinions heard on our foreign policy, I believe they’re going to find a lot of American Protestants feeling a lot less ecumenical than we have been in the more recent past.

@megbasham And it's especially problematic when the Pope doesn't seem to know the Bible very well - on immigration. God teaches NOT open borders but wisdom or "wise welcome." An actual Bible study (free) & videos (again) are here: AmericanEvangelicals.com/immigration

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte informed European countries that political pledges made since the start of the conflict are no longer sufficient.
