@PineFlyer Tolkien is an endless source of device/network names, knowing they’re linguistically accurate is just the cherry on top

I had the joy of helping in an early reading of 2.0 by Matt Shafeek, and can confirm that it's hilarious and heartfelt. If you're nervous about AI, and what it means for your future and career, you're going to enjoy this when it comes out!

@nathanielfosten @robjama You can set Raycast to appear on cmd-space, if that's what you mean!

@pashmerepat I ran this exact prompt and it used about 15% of my weekly credits on the plus plan. Same 5.4 Medium setup. Expected usage?

Biggest lesson from OpenClaw is that a good teammate doesn't start from scratch everytime you check in. They remember what was decided, what's still open, and proactively help you.
Today we launched heartbeats in Codex: automations that maintain context inside a single thread over time.
Instead of each run starting fresh, Codex wakes up in the same conversation, with the history and context it needs already in place. You can also have it schedule its own next steps – just ask Codex.
Think about the overhead that quietly accumulates every morning: scanning Slack channels, catching up on email, piecing together what moved overnight. With a heartbeat, you offload that once, and wake up to a brief already waiting in a pinned thread.
If you want to try turning Codex into a chief of staff: connect Slack, Gmail, and Notion, and paste the following prompt into codex:
Please check @Slack @Gmail @Notion and write me a morning brief every weekday at 9am in this thread. I want you to collapse all the chaos at work into a single note every morning over some coffee ☕️

@AriX How long before local apps ship their own agentic instruction layers, making GUI examination like this unnecessary? Do you think that'll even be a needed step? (I do love watching the ghost mouse flit around though.)

@JamesZmSun This is really exciting! Looking forward to giving it a spin.

We are super excited to launch the in-app browser inside Codex with comment mode!
View any web pages & iterate with your agent quickly with just point and click.
Codex will automatically capture a screenshot, the DOM element, and feed it as precise context to your next chat.
No more switching between browsers, dragging screenshots, and wrangling with underspecified prompts.
It's great for front-end development of apps/pages, but also very useful if you have documentation pulled up on the side and just want to ask a question!

@NotionDevs Tried to sign up in the terminal with ntn run register but no dice though. 🥲

@NotionDevs Okay, this is a classy website! Props to the designer.

This is the tiniest and least important thing, but... did the color of the "Favorites Star" just change in @1Password? And can we, uh, roll that one back please?

@andymadrick It’s cute! But less efficient on external monitors. What about Live Activities in the menu bar? I don’t see them used very often on MacOS. (The only one I regularly see is my Duolingo owl counting down until I break my streak.)

@temnco I've been saying "organic". I like Certified Human too though!

@jamesjacoby_ @NotionHQ Okay I need to up my agent icon game.
English

finally decided to switch to @diabrowser from arc but damn the absence of "air traffic control" is a deal breaker 😭
also why is profile/space switching so much clunkier now?
English

@aNotioneer @NotionAPI Ooh, nice! What are you using to send tasks to Notion from Raycast?
English

I created a Mission Control page for my Notion custom agents, to keep track of tasks that my agents are working on
To keep costs down:
- Requests are created from Raycast
- A setting decides whether to track the task or not
- They're named using OpenAI's gpt-4.1-nano
All the agent has to do here is update the task's status when it's finished working
PS: This is just an example - my content will stay slop-free 😇
