I just saw a tweet from this person who works at McDonald’s, having £1.49 corned beef slices and a £0.50 baguette for dinner in a parking lot, and it dawned on me how out of touch health advice can be. Some of you are asking people to eat ribeye steaks and supplement with hundreds of £££ magic powders as if life depends on it, when many can’t even afford rent in this economy. Having said that, the pro-metabolic diet is perfect if you’re on a budget. Dairy (it does not have to be raw milk, choose any animal milk you fancy, let’s be honest, it makes no real difference), potatoes, scrappy, gelatinous parts of the animal, oranges, sweet fruit in general, fruit juices, condensed milk, carrots, coconut oil, supplement with liver once a week. Aspirin can be very cheap. And sunshine and hugs are free. If you live at altitude, you can get away with murder.
