Air India just revamped its Maharaja Club loyalty program and the numbers are actually impressive 🧵 Here's everything that changed 👇 ✈️ Award seat availability You can now book lowest fare seats up to 30 days before departure (was 90 days earlier). Way more flexibility for last-minute planners. 🔄 Rescheduling/cancellation • Platinum: up to 2 hours before departure • Gold: up to 7 days before • Silver: up to 30 days before And your points get refunded with ZERO charges. 🙌 🏆 Easier tier progression • Gold: 45 flights (was 60) ✅ • Silver: 20 flights (was 30) ✅ 💸 Domestic redemptions (Economy) | Route | Before → Now | Saving | | Goa–Hyderabad | 7000 → 2500 pts | 64% off | | Delhi–Goa | 9000 → 5000 pts | 44% off | | Mumbai–Amritsar | 9500 → 5500 pts | 42% off | | Delhi–Chandigarh | 5000 → 3000 pts | 40% off | 🌍 International redemptions (Economy) | Route | Before → Now | Saving | | Delhi–Jeddah | 26000 → 12000 pts | 54% off | | Mumbai–Mauritius | 25000 → 12000 pts | 52% off | | Delhi–San Francisco | 77000 → 40000 pts | 48% off | | Delhi–Vancouver | 87000 → 50000 pts | 43% off | 💳 Best credit cards to transfer points Axis Olympus gives you a 1:4 ratio - meaning 1 reward point becomes 4 Maharaja Club miles. That's the best on the market right now. Others worth noting: • ICICI Emeralde / SBI Miles / HSBC TravelOne → 1:1 • DBS Vantage / Axis Magnus → 5:4 • HDFC Infinia & Diners Black → 2:1 Bottom line: If you fly Air India even occasionally, this revaluation is a genuine upgrade. Stack your credit card points, transfer at the best ratio, and redeem while rates are low. RT if you found this useful. Story by @bachatkhata. Booked a test drive for Honda Elevate. Tried Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Mercedes GLA. Didn’t like Hyryder. The breaking was too strong. Also, the steering felt too hard to move. GLA was months ago. I have forgotten what it felt like. Main blocker there is cost.

Something fun I've been building recently. More to come :)
