What is the main difference between Optimum DeRAM and Optimum DeROM? Decentralized architecture requires specialized memory layers to handle different types of data efficiently. @get_optimum provides distinct solutions tailored for specific network demands through its DeRAM and DeROM infrastructure. The Optimum DeRAM architecture ▪️ Functions as a fully decentralized read-write memory layer for dynamic operations ▪️ Engineered specifically for low-latency processing and fast execution ▪️ Built to handle shared-state data effectively across the network The Optimum DeROM architecture ▪️ Operates as a read-only and append-oriented memory structure ▪️ Optimized specifically for high-efficiency data broadcasting ▪️ Serves as the ideal solution for reliable and accessible data caching Bottom line By separating read-write functions from read-only caching, @get_optimum ensures maximum efficiency and optimal data handling across its entire decentralized ecosystem. Which memory layer do you think is more critical for scaling Web3 applications? Drop your thoughts below 👇 Powered by @get_optimum @MurielMedard @cryptooflashh @aqccapital @CryptoSundayz @TheBl0ckBoy @ada_pegasus

🤔 Sometimes, a single number can spark an entire conversation. When @get_optimum posted "32", it looked simple at first. Then came a reply from co-founder Professor Muriel Médard: "A power of 2." 💡 That small clue points toward something much bigger. In networking and Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC), powers of two aren't arbitrary they're commonly used for efficient encoding, packet generation, buffering, and scalable data recovery. Instead of waiting for specific pieces of data to arrive, RLNC allows nodes to reconstruct information from enough independent coded packets, making data propagation faster, more resilient, and more bandwidth-efficient. 🌐⚡ Why does this matter for blockchain? As networks grow, the challenge isn't only executing transactions, it's ensuring that blocks and data reach every node quickly, reliably, and with minimal overhead. That's exactly the problem @get_optimum is tackling. By building a decentralized data acceleration layer powered by RLNC, Optimum aims to deliver: 🚀 Faster block propagation 📡 Lower bandwidth consumption 🛡️ More resilient data delivery ⚙️ Improved scalability without changing blockchain consensus The "32" post may have looked like a simple teaser, but it highlights how small technical design choices can have a meaningful impact on network performance. Sometimes, the biggest innovations aren't the loudest , they're hidden in the details. 💜 What do you think the next clue from Optimum will reveal? 👀 @cryptooflashh @shariaronchain @get_optimum #Optimum #RLNC #Blockchain #Ethereum x.com/AMIsh01080497/… x.com/get_optimum/st…

Not every breakthrough in Web3 happens at the execution layer. Some of the biggest improvements happen before a transaction is even processed. That's where Optimum stands out. At the core of its infrastructure is Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC) , an advanced networking technique pioneered at MIT that rethinks how blockchain data travels across a network. Instead of relying on traditional data propagation methods, RLNC helps distribute information more efficiently, improving bandwidth usage, network resilience, and propagation speed. The result ? A stronger foundation for blockchains that need to support real-time applications without compromising performance. Sometimes innovation isn't about building a new blockchain. It's about making every blockchain communicate better. That's the problem Optimum is solving. #Optimum #Web3 #Blockchain #Infrastructure #RLNC #Crypto

Gmum🤍 Speed is equal to money. In TradFi, firms spend millions to shave milliseconds by colocating servers. But that playbook breaks in decentralized networks where openness matters. The real edge? Rethinking how data moves, not where the box sits. Here’s the thing: low latency only has value if it’s a guarantee, not a lucky break. And physics limits how many can enjoy that guarantee at once. As network utilization rises, delay doesn’t climb linearly it spikes toward infinity. This delay curve defines a natural cap on “fast lane” inventory. Overlay utility thresholds specific latency numbers that unlock real economic wins for certain users and you instantly see how many can be served. Where each threshold hits the curve, you find the max supply. Users who extract the most value from speed will naturally bid more. This is a true Latency Marketplace. The only way to expand that scarce inventory is to shift the entire curve outward. That’s what Random Linear Network Coding does. Same load, dramatically less delay. More capacity at every threshold, more value unlocked not by moving servers closer, but by smarter data transport. Suddenly, the bounty of low latency isn't reserved for those who can afford to park hardware next to the exchange. Increasing the total supply of speed broadens access. Every new node that joins doesn't just benefit itself it adds horsepower to the whole network. Positive sum scaling. This is @get_optimum’s mission: turn latency into a tradable good and make the network stronger as it grows. The edge gets shared, not hoarded. @get_optimum @MurielMedard @tarunchitra @GrundeiMoritz @cryptooflashh

Gmum🤍 Big news brewing behind the scenes. 🔥 Just got word that Puffer is officially plugged in as a testing partner for mump2p. For those who don't know, these guys don't play around they're heavyweights in institutional staking with a borderline obsessive focus on security. Here’s why this moves the needle: They could test with anyone, but they chose to kick the tires on mump2p. That tells me the infrastructure is being battle hardened by the best before it even hits prime time. Watching the synergy between their deep staking expertise and what mump2p brings to the table is going to be fascinating. This isn't just a simple integration; this is a signal. If the Puffer seal of approval comes through after this testing phase, pay attention. The groundwork is being laid for something solid. @everyone Keep your eyes peeled. 👀 @get_optimum @MurielMedard @tarunchitra @GrundeiMoritz

Gmum🤍 1: Timing games in MEV are often framed as a zero sum race. Miss some value in one slot? The story goes it'll just spill into the next. The Optimum team actually tested this. What they found changes how we should think about proposer strategy. 2: Quick context for anyone new: Proposers have a tiny window to pick the most profitable bid while still meeting the network deadline. Wait too long → block arrives late. Pick too early → you might miss a juicier bid that lands milliseconds later. That tension is the timing game. 3: The core question they asked: If every proposer perfectly optimized their timing, does total MEV actually grow? Or are we just rearranging the same pile of value across slots? To answer this, they dug into bid traces across 33,000+ Ethereum slots. 4: For each slot they looked at: • Accepted bid value • Max bid that appeared in the first 4 seconds • The gap between them (the “lost” value) • When exactly the proposer made their selection If cross-slot MEV were truly zero-sum, any lost value in slot N would get fully recovered in slot N+1. 5: Here’s the kicker: In roughly 10% of slots, that didn’t happen. The value wasn’t just delayed it vanished. Over the full 33,137 slots, the total unrecovered value equaled 1/6th of all accepted bid value. That’s not pocket change. 6: And these missed chances weren’t tiny. Compared to the median accepted bid, the lost opportunities were around 500x larger. A single skipped bid could dwarf what the next slot actually captured. 7: Let’s zoom into slot 14,552,240 as a concrete example: The proposer accepted a bid of ~0.9 ETH. Barely 300ms later, two relays offered bids roughly 1.8 ETH higher. So about 2 ETH of potential value was left on the table. 8: Now check the very next slot. Four relatively high bids came in total value around 0.08 ETH. Nowhere near the 2 ETH that was missed. That opportunity died with the block. No full carryover. 9: What this tells us: Yes, a lot of unrealized MEV does flow into subsequent slots. But some opportunities are short lived. If you cut your bid selection early, that value can be lost permanently not just reshuffled. 10: Implication for validators and the blockspace market: Sometimes waiting a few hundred extra milliseconds isn’t greedy it’s economically rational for everyone. Capturing that fleeting value grows the pie, not just your own slice. 11: Props to Optimum for doing the legwork on this. Timing games aren’t just a latency flex. They’re a genuine lever for keeping value inside the system instead of letting it evaporate. Something worth thinking about next time you tune your proposer setup. @get_optimum @MurielMedard @tarunchitra @GrundeiMoritz @cryptooflashh @aqccapital @CryptoSundayz @blockchainjeff @TheBl0ckBoy @tgogayi @Isaacjohnibiam

ChatGPT vs @SurfAI Who Understands Crypto Better? To test the difference between general AI and crypto native AI, I asked both the same question: “Is ETH being accumulated or distributed right now?” At first glance, both answers seem similar. Both suggest some level of accumulation. But the depth, methodology, and usefulness of the answers are very different. Let’s break it down. 1. ChatGPT’s Approach ChatGPT gives a high level interpretation: “ETH is in a mixed phase, slightly leaning toward accumulation… whales are buying while traders sell into rallies.” This is directionally reasonable. It captures market psychology and explains the “push and pull” dynamic between long term buyers and short term sellers. However, the limitations are clear: - No real time or recent data - No measurable signals (flows, reserves, etc.) - No way to verify the claim - Not actionable for trading or decision making This type of answer is useful for understanding general market behavior, but it lacks precision. 2. Surf AI’s Approach Surf AI answers the same question using on-chain data and measurable signals. Key findings: - ~144K ETH net outflow from exchanges over the last 7 days - ~229K ETH net outflow over 14 days - Exchange reserves dropped by ~136K ETH Interpretation: Negative exchange netflow means ETH is leaving exchanges, which typically signals accumulation, as assets are being moved out of sell side liquidity. Surf doesn’t stop there. It adds context: - ETF flows were negative over 30 days - Recently turned mildly positive This creates a more nuanced conclusion: - Strong on chain accumulation is happening - Institutional demand is recovering, but not fully dominant yet 3. Key Difference The difference is not just in the answer it’s in the thinking process. ChatGPT: - Explains market behavior - Relies on general knowledge - Lacks verifiable signals Surf AI: - Uses real time on chain data - Quantifies behavior with metrics - Provides traceable reasoning - Connects multiple signals (exchange flows + ETF demand) 4. Why This Matters In crypto, accuracy is not just about being “generally right.” It’s about: - Timing - Data precision - Signal confirmation A high level explanation might sound correct, but without data, it cannot guide decisions. Surf’s approach reduces guesswork by grounding conclusions in measurable activity. 5. Final Insight Both tools have value, but they serve different purposes: - ChatGPT helps you understand - Surf AI helps you analyze And in crypto markets, analysis is what creates an edge. Conclusion: ETH currently shows clear signs of on chain accumulation, supported by sustained exchange outflows. However, the broader picture remains mixed as institutional flows are only beginning to recover. This is the level of nuance required for real crypto research and it’s where specialized AI begins to outperform general models. @yuta1922521 @SurfAI_TR
