What I am telling you isn’t speculation. It comes from 35 years of being a witness to shady practices of ticket resellers and being around Stubhub since day 1 of their existence.
Majority of busted orders the sellers don’t pay a fine or they disappear. There are enough consignment houses out there that a seller can start over instantly.

Thinking about this @StubHub World Cup disaster and fans that bought tickets even a year ago and not getting them.
Stubhub not only is going to profit from the dropped sale as they charge the seller 200% and keep that.
They will also make money on all the interest from the payments they took from fans.
One of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen in ticketing.
The damage done and lifetime experiences Stubhub has ruined is shameful and was totally avoidable.
I can’t recommend enough for people to never use their platform again.

So likely majority do get replaced. But when prices are 2x++ and get busted, they never do. Overall my guess is closer to 40-50% than 90%

I'll be filing a class action lawsuit StubHub. I was told I'd get my refund in 8 days. I got it in 24 hoursbBut my lawyers will challenge their tickets agreement. No tickets available with their guarantees. Only option was a refund.

It's amateur sellers who bust, and hope to cancel cc on file to avoid fine

I always said that when the Blues made the Stanley Cup Finals that I'd definitely go, but then they did and the cheapest ticket was $2k and I was just like, meh, with travel and hotel and everything else it's just too much. And then I didn't go. Simple.

If any good lawyer is interested, I’m glad to represent the class. I think there’s a 0% chance any jury will agree that secretly drawing in a non-uniform way is acceptable or reasonably anticipated by purchasers.
