Just sold a South American city .com, which is a popular tourist destination! After the deal, I learned something wild: the buyer told me this was his third time buying the domain! It turns out he lost it twice before by forgetting to renew. 😅 He didn’t mention this during negotiations, but his emails were sincere, polite, and he’s clearly an end-user in the travel industry. I love seeing pure geo .coms land with end-users who’ll put them to great use, so I sold it at a very fair price. Win-win! Here’s hoping he doesn’t have to buy this domain a fourth time! P.S. I’ve got a ton of similar Latin American geo .coms in my portfolio, and guess what? I also own Ciudades․com, the Spanish word for “cities”! 🌎

I've been quietly working on a domain valuation system, with my son who is a coding genius. I prescribed 30 rules for valuation, based on length, TLD, TLD taken, age, structure etc etc We used visual studio machine learning module to train the system to identify gibberish, brandable etc etc We are working on using ML to train the engine on price history at the moment but sourcing enough data is tricky. It's far from complete but the results are fairly staggering so far. I think we are onto something ! I will be asking a few of you to help test via an early access site once ready.
