@TFTC21 You can cure it with SAAT treatment. Don’t let them tell you there’s no cure.

A peer-reviewed paper published last year in the journal Bioethics by two professors at Western Michigan University School of Medicine argues that it is "morally obligatory" to genetically engineer ticks to spread alpha-gal syndrome, a permanent condition that makes you violently allergic to red meat. The paper is called "Beneficial Bloodsucking." Their argument: if eating meat is morally wrong, then preventing the spread of a disease that forces people to stop eating meat is also morally wrong. Scientists should gene-edit lone star ticks to enhance their ability to carry alpha-gal syndrome and expand their range into urban environments to infect more people. They call this a "moral bioenhancer." They frame releasing genetically modified disease-carrying ticks as a "vaccination" that only "infringes" on your bodily autonomy rather than "violating" it. The distinction, apparently, is that a tick bit you instead of a government official holding you down. Alpha-gal syndrome is not mild. The CDC estimates up to 450,000 Americans are already affected. Cases have surged 100-fold in the last decade. Symptoms include anaphylaxis. There is no cure. Alpha-gal cases are exploding across the United States. The lone star tick's range is expanding far beyond its historical territory. And two academics at a medical school published a paper arguing this is a good thing that should be accelerated. At what point do we stop treating papers like this as fringe academic exercises and start asking whether anyone is already acting on them?

Well... Ended up doing a full site redesign. So many forestry mulching companies around the country used AI to duplicate our website that it was easier to just redesign ours to maintain differentiation and make some improvements along the way. brushworksco.com

I got a Ridge wallet for Christmas once. It’s definitely sturdy and has cool designs, but sitting on a chunk of metal was awful. Only used it for a couple days and went back to leather. Seems like this is never mentioned about these metal wallets
Degen CPA@DrewVento

Dear Ridge Wallet, I bought one wallet. I buy one new wallet every 12 years. I do not need multiple wallets, I am not building a collection of wallets, I am not an avid fan of wallet innovation and news. I do not need to be emailed 4 times a week every week for all of time.

Don’t get married to a woman before using this filter: She must get ready in less than 45 minutes. The formula: Every minute over 45 is a 10% increase in drama, bougieness, and divorce likelihood. Marrying a low maintenance woman is underrated.

@recostseg Does bonus depreciation have to be STR based, or does it work for standard buy/rent as well?

R.E. Cost Seg

The tax benefits for RE Pros in America are incredible. We know many real estate investors who make significant free cashflow each year and haven't paid much or any income tax in years. They just buy a building or two every year, do a cost seg, bonus depreciate a big chunk, and then offset that income. It's still one of the greatest ways to protect and preserve wealth that we've seen.

Dan Zanger turned $11,000 into $18 million in 18 months. 📉📈 He inspired traders like @Qullamaggie and @RyanPierpont, who recommends studying all of Zangers newsletters 🤓 I tried, but found it difficult to because of the lack of structure and continuity. So I leveraged AI and created my own study tool: 📈51,000+ annotated charts (1998 - 2021) 📉Pattern search: filter instantly for bull flags, Cup and handles, 35+ more 🤖AI-assistant: Ask Zanger anything using the latest AI Is there any interest in me sharing it?

Had a discovery call last Tuesday that reminded me why I'm picky about who we work with. Business owner found me locally. Wanted to "dominate" the city in a few months. The Map Pack competitors had an average of 400 reviews. He had 46. I told him the truth: "This is a 9+ month timeline minimum to see results" Somehow that answer irritated him. Went on a rant about how SEO agencies suck and it doesn't work. Here's what most people don't realize about discovery calls. I'm not just seeing if you're a good fit for us. I'm figuring out if we can actually help you. And if we can't, I don't want your money. Not because I'm a saint, but taking on clients I'm not confident about is terrible for my business. Bad-fit clients eat up triple my time: > Weekly "concern" calls > Managing expectations that were never realistic > Putting out fires instead of doing deep strategy work for clients I know I can help Also means we get less client to case study ratio. Even if we get results, misaligned clients often leave anyway. We've ranked businesses top 3, tripled (or more) their calls, and they still find a reason to be unhappy.
