I see this complaint all the time. Are these people unaware of all the amazing stuff happening at BIC, Sabha, Ranga Shankara, Cubbon and dozens of smaller spaces or are they too lazy to find out?

This is a final year medical student. She belongs to an agricultural labourer's family. The family is totally broken after stem cell transplant failed for ALL. CAR T cell therapy can save her life! It will cost 50lakhs, but the doctors team are negotiating with the pharma company and trying to bring it down to 35 to 40 lakhs. I managed to raise 20 lakhs so far. Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds.

Nine-Year Marriage Ends in Tragedy in Bengaluru

On Monday late evening, a techie couple died by suicide within the jurisdiction of the Kothanur police station at the high-end Nikoo Homes residential complex in Bhartiya City, #Bengaluru.
The deceased have been identified as Bhanu Chander Reddy Kunta (32) and his wife Bibi Shaziya Siraj (31). Both were originally from #Telangana and had been living in Bengaluru for several years to pursue careers in the #IT sector.
According to preliminary police reports, the tragedy unfolded in stages within Tower 6 of the apartment complex. Investigations suggest that Bhanu Chander first took his own life by hanging inside their residence. Upon discovering her husband’s body, a distraught Shaziya allegedly climbed to the 17th floor of the building and jumped to her death.
Police have registered two separate Unnatural Death Reports under Section 194 of the BNSS.
The couple had been married for approximately nine years, following a period of live-in relationship. They had been residing at their current address in #BhartiyaCity for over a year. While Shaziya was employed with a prominent multinational tech company, Bhanu Chander had reportedly been unemployed for some time.
Preliminary inquiries suggest the couple was facing persistent domestic friction and Bhanu Chander was battling ongoing health issues.
The Kothanur police of the North East Division are looking into all angles, including their digital footprints and personal records, to understand the exact sequence of events.

I cancelled a mid April Jordan trip for obvious reasons. The worst part was informing the local person I booked a car with. You form just strong bonds over the course of weeks of planning & discussion that it’s heartbreaking to convey the news. Hopefully I can go when it’s done
