I assume the cyber security expert used his NID as the driver ID? Why no security audit?

His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu officially inaugurated the Malé Taxi Line Service at a special ceremony held tonight at Hulhumalé Central Park. First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Hon. Here’s what we can confirm so far about the “invited suppliers” 1. @dash8x ( JavaabuMV +) – Not invited ❌ 2. @shamheel ( LoopCraft ) – Not invited ❌ 3. @kudanai ( Intella + ) – Not invited ❌ 4. @reallynattu ( Lottiefiles ) – Not invited❌ 5. @WhoIsFishie – Not invited ❌ Which other app developers do we know? Please tag them so we can get a clearer picture.

I’m told MTCC awarded a ~MVR 13 million “MaleTaxiApp” project to a company called FixedMaldives. Key concerns being raised: - No open bidding, only selected suppliers were invited - Fixed Maldives is a sole proprietorship registered in 2022, with no listed business names, activity permits, or relevant licenses - Their services don’t indicate app development capabilities - Portfolio shows experience in hardware, cameras, and networking: not software development - Project was reportedly due for completion in November, but app remains unfinished as of yesterday - Multiple payments have already been made This is something journalists should look into, to verify the facts, clarify the procurement process, and provide transparency on the project’s current status.

Since last night, three different people have spoken to me about container delays. Shipments that used to be cleared and released within a week are now stuck , containers that arrived last month are still not cleared. This includes consignments from major food importers. Meanwhile, MPL and its staff appear preoccupied with election-related matters. At this point, we should seriously consider creating a separate SOE just for political appointees and allow the rest of the SOEs to be run by professionals, free from politics.
