@ESPNCleveland @TheRealTRizzo @TheOGPAW There is not a more clueless person in Cleveland sports than Rizzo. Do better ESPN.

@kmbaert Bandon Dunes doesn’t even belong on the list. Worst course at that resort by a lot. So little strategic golf other than 16. 17 and 18 are malpractice.
English

Casa de Campo (Teeth of the Dog) ahead of the following courses is absurd:
— Bandon Dunes
— Kingsbarns
— Royal Liverpool
— Cape Wickham
— Cabot Cliffs
— Victoria
— Castle Stuart

I've played 44. Golf is a great job.

@sscottpga @otcgolf As always, the old tournament courses are overrated. Oakmont, Chicago, Riviera, Winged Foot, Oakland Hills, Brookline, Bethpage Black and Oak Hill. There is a place for the top 6 that I mention (sorry but Bethpage and Oak Hill don’t belong at all) but much lower.
English

How about this list?
What sticks out as overrated? Underrated?
Loving @otcgolf moving in a nice direction…

Which course that you’ve played has the best looking clubhouse, purely from aesthetics? No history, no prestige, specifically from the looks of it. Here are 4 of my favorites (ironically, 3/4 are very historic and prestigious 😂):
Baltusrol Golf Club
Seminole Golf Club
Winged Foot Golf Club
Bayonne Golf Club

@Mdriver1992 @AndyTFE @mikeclaytongolf The bunkers aren’t needed. They will actually prevent bigger scores because players will just lay up short right of the green.
English

@seminolesammy69 Rock Creek,Gozzer and Shooting Star are great. Skip the other 2. Moonlight Basin is best in Big Sky.
English

@golfcourses101 Good. Not great. Beginning and finish aren’t as good as middle holes. Bunkering style too similar to Garden City and not natural in the terrain.
English

I’ve played 150+ courses in Southern California and have ranked them all on @trygolfr. Thoughts on my Top 10?
1. Riviera
2. LACC
3. Valley Club
4. Bel-Air
5. PGA West (Stadium)
6. Sherwood
7. Rustic Canyon
8. La Quinta (Mountain)
9. LACC (South)
10. Pelican Hill (South)

@Top100Rick Best example of excess tree removal that really ruined the feel of the course.

Inverness Club - #58/Top 100
1918 - Donald Ross
Private
Blessed to spend a couple days at this American classic with some good friends. It just keeps getting better.
Inverness is full of history. Byron Nelson was the head pro. Hogan and Snead played regularly in their Invitational. 4 US Opens were held here.
The golf course has been renovated and reimagined by Andrew Green and is truly amazing. A major test that is unique, fun, and gorgeous.
The land is truly special. It has rolling hills that create bowls that you play over and through. The elevation change makes for some incredibly dramatic tee and approach shots.
The turf is perfect. The greens run smooth and true, the fairways firm. The green contours are legendary, Ross and Green made sure the putts and chips are always fun. There are chips where laying up away from the pin is the best play.
It’s meant to be major tough and it is. The rough is deep. Angles matter big time when you get in it, you simply can’t carry and hold a green when from a bad angle.
The fairway bunkers are a penalty, it’s extremely hard to reach a green when you get in one. And if you try for the hero shot, you typically find yourself in more trouble. Playing smart here pays off.
Inverness is consistently ranked as a top 100 course in the world and it’s worthy of the accolade. A fantastic couple days with great friends and a great golf course is hard to beat!

@putt4dough24 Great work by architect David Zinkand. He encouraged the club to do this work and the course is so much better for it. A unique hole in American golf.
English

@Evan_Schiller @Sand_Valley @coorecrenshaw Bunkers falling into a Wisconsin lake. I guess the Keiser’s are going artificial golf now.
English

There's going to be a new course in town at @Sand_Valley coming in 2026. Jim Craig who for years has been @coorecrenshaw man on the ground now has his first solo design. And, from the looks of it, it's going to be a really winner.

English

@putt4dough24 Hope no one gets hit by a ball on that green to the right. Looks like open range to it with bad golfer slices. I love tree removal but there is a purpose for some trees.

@CollinRugg Problem with America today. Life has gotten so good that people demand a fairy tale. Life is real. People should be grateful for their good relationship with a loyal partner and not demand perfection.
English

Woman says she wanted to get a divorce with her perfect husband because she can’t be herself then immediately says she doesn’t know who she is.
“I told my husband I wanted a divorce… There is not a single thing about my husband, in and of himself, that I do not love…”
Build your relationship on God and things will be easier.
English

@Sbyrne_91 How does the older or below average golfer play them?
English

@BryanTweed16 Erin Hills and Mammoth dunes are grossly overrated. Little strategic interest in either.
English

English

@ChickenPinter Congrats on new course. Kingsley has always done things right.
English

@drewharvie There is nothing better than a day at Sunningdale but the pure golf course (not the experience) at St George Hill is better. Just the course stands up to Pine Valley.
English

@drewharvie @BryanTweed16 Love Inverness but not for pro’s anymore.
English

@BryanTweed16 Why go to Inverness when you can go to Oakland Hills an hour up the road?
English

There is an opportunity to have more Midwest (and public) representation at the U.S. Open.
I highly recommend the USGA consider Inverness, Interlachen, Scioto, Olympia Fields and Erin Hills again. #GolfChat

🚨🚨🚨 #GOLFCHAT QUESTION #5 🚨🚨🚨 Do you like that the USGA has awarded 23 of the next 27 US Opens already? usopen.com/future-site-lo… What courses not on the docket should host a U.S. Open at some point? #GolfChat
