I don’t believe this at all. Everyone I talk to my age is realizing the liberal/big government/high tax society where everything is better that we were promised under Obama was a lie. Still have tons of wars, cost of living is magnitudes worse, get nothing for your high taxes, ACA bankrupting the middle class, and rampant fraud under the guise of a social safety net.
Most don’t want to say they lean conservative now for fear of backlash from the ultra-liberals. If someone doesn’t tow their line they will literally try to blackball them and their kids.

That is why skin color varies so sharply across regions without implying deeper genetic separation.
