@UK_Daniel_Card I'm new to British politics. Is it like Hearts? Can you shoot the moon in a parliamentary election?

@lennysan This is awesome. Would love to see a similar framework applied to enterprise software where pms have lots of strategy frameworks for picking markets but few for winning them.

Everyone loves launching new features, but in my experience, most growth comes from the less sexy work: incremental and consistent optimization of your core product. Surprisingly, I’ve never seen a great framework for how to methodically think about increasing the adoption of features after they’ve launched. Until now. Introducing the ARIA framework—by Ken Rudin: lennysnewsletter.com/p/how-to-accel… Ken developed this framework over the course of his career. And his background is bonkers: He was one of the first senior execs on @Facebook's legendary early growth team, led growth at @Google for many years (including Google search, ads, and cloud), led the Growth and Analytics team at @Zynga, was the first SVP of Products and Engineering at @Salesforce, and most recently helped @ThoughtSpot (an AI-enabled analytics vendor) transition their growth motion from a traditional sales-led B2B SaaS model to product-led growth. There’s a lot of hate for micro-optimization product work, and I’m here to tell you that this work is important. Maybe the most important. Don't miss today's post.

Very excited to have @vcrama joining @MenloVentures at the perfect time! We believe the new AI and cybersecurity stacks represent the biggest investment opportunities of the decade, and Rama will help us double down on both. He's ready to hit the ground running... hope you can meet him soon! menlovc.com/perspective/me…

Recently, I decided I wanted to read every page of one of my favorite websites, @OurWorldInData. I’m about halfway now. Here are the 30 most surprising things I’ve learned about the world so far! 🧵

@satyanadella is an incredible CEO (obviously). Would love to hear the story of how MS picked him for the job. Easy to say "hire someone like Satya". Harder to know how to identify that level of talent.

I have been struggling to articulate the complex emotions I've been feeling since Saturday morning as a Jew, a liberal/progressive, a believer that Palestinians and Jews have a right to a homeland, to safety and dignity. A thread 1/

@jasonlk True, but if you're selling your company and care about what happens next, you need to understand the flip side - operating margins matter a lot to your acquirer. They may be happy to buy you but the same math may crush you post acquisition. Seller beware.

Talking to second time founders (especially v. successful ones), I've realized they tend to make the same mistakes. In fact, I made these myself in my brief attempt to start a second company after Scribd. The three most common ones:
