🤔 I get the argument that the #nufc players are letting Eddie Howe down (some clearly are) but there can't be many Premier League managers who had as much influence over players who came in as he did last summer. Aaron Ramsdale a good example of a strategy that has been found wanting. Went with 'what we know' / PL experience rather than being prepared to take a chance on better with less experience. It hasn't worked. It's going to change, from what I'm hearing. #nufc are in a really tough spot. Howe has done a wonderful job but this season has been really poor & the last few weeks have been totally unacceptable. I'm glad he has the fire but #nufc now being out-fought & out-thought by mid-table rivals & that worries me. Yesterday's result was all-too-predictable. Whatever Newcastle are going to do (stay/go), it would be useful for them to make that decision well before end of season & communicate it clearly. Uncertainty over manager / player futures is hugely corrosive & with seemingly nothing to play for drift could become toxic.

@GianfrancoShoIa I can understand with woltemade as it came out the blue in last few days. But wissa was chased half the summer. With no DOF it can only have been down to Howe wanting him. The player isn't fit to wear the no9 both in a physical fit and ability sense. But this is all on Howe

Whatever peoples opinions are on Gordon, can’t take away the 67 G/A in 3 seasons. 2 goals in 2 legs against arsenal in the semis. Unfairly thrown upfront for no reason at all. Can’t be a good feeling taken away from your best position to play one you can’t play with 3 strikers worth over 140 million between them sat on the bench. Only one that tried against that lot at home aswell btw and got hooked off. #NUFC
