@AndrewJSauer I think the key is patient selection for shunts 1) Do they really have HFpEF? 2) Is HFpEF causing their dyspnea? 3) Does the RV have reserve to handle the shunted flow? 4) related to #3, does shunt occur throughout the respiratory cycle. Not sure that ‘latent’ PVD is the answer.
