On the eve of early voting, all five Republican members of Virginia's congressional delegation have sent a letter to all six Virginia House Democrats urging them to reconsider their support for the proposed constitutional amendment that would give General Assembly Democrats the power to implement their proposed 10D-1R map. "We respectfully urge you to reconsider your support for this amendment and to join us in defending the independent redistricting reform that Virginia voters overwhelmingly approved," the letter reads.
