This was horrendous this am. The Howard Franklin Bridge, also known as I-275, became a parking lot at 6:30 this am. LEO from everywhere descended on a black garbage bag lying in the middle of the interstate. After several hrs (and these poor people trying to get to work), it was finally released that in that garbage bag was the body of one of the missing USF doctoral students who have been missing for over one wk. This was the male's remains. The female is still missing. His roommate has been taken into custody after he barricaded himself in their apt. The first time I was in Israel, we went to the Holocaust Museum Yad Vashem. We were all completely shattered by the experience. Our little group gathered together on a plaza in the rain and we joined hands. Our pastor read from the book of Revelations he said “Adolf Hitler said he had the final solution, but praise God He gets the final chapter“ and he read to us about the new heaven and the new Earth. We joined hands, and as we prayed the clouds parted and a white hot bolt of light shown down directly on our group and nowhere else. It stayed directly on us the entire time we prayed and as we said amen, the clouds closed back up, and it started raining again. I have never forgotten that and I never will.

I debated on sharing this because of the negativity on X and how certain accounts are doing their best to bring others down. But I decided to share it tonight because I am proud. And I do know so many are rooting positively for my family. So yesterday when we were shopping for cars with my daughter I had asked if she had heard anything back from her interviews? She had three. She was one of the first in her class to be offered interviews. She told me no. Not yet, Mama. I said ok. We get to dinner. (Yes, we bought the car. Picking it up on Sunday) She told me she had to show me something. But wait for Daddy and turn the volume up. So I did. My child... my beautiful baby girl...LANDED HER DREAM JOB!!!!! Right after graduation, she starts. Not only did she LAND HER DREAM JOB....(HER FIRST PICK) SHE LANDED THE OTHER TWO AS WELL!!!! All three departments wanted HER on their floor. I was shocked. And then I cried. Then I smacked her arm and said, "Why did you lie to me?" Then I cried some more. My baby landed her dream job. She is reaching for the stars like I told her she would in her high-school yearbook. I told her she would make something of herself with the will and drive she has. Her determination and goal oriented spirit. Her kindness, empathy, and compassion taking her to a place where she will be the VERY BEST NURSE SHE CAN BE. I'm just emotional and undone the past two days. I don't think it gets any better than this. My baby. Mine. She will always be my baby. So proud. So hopeful. So excited for her future endeavors. Proud of my baby. Did I mention I love her? Oh yes. My mama heart is full. We have her 100%.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am a little concerned that he’s in this race to split the Republican vote so the Democrats win. That’s the vibe I get, but I don’t know Fishback personally so if I’m wrong on this, I’m wrong.

How do I know that the climate *crisis* is a scam? Here are five reasons: 1️⃣ None of the politicians, celebrities, or “scientists” yammering about it have altered their lifestyles an inch. If they opted to forgo using O&G products, then I’d take them seriously. Actions speak louder than words. 2️⃣ Climate conferences aren’t being held virtually on Zoom using their large meeting extensions. It’s doable, they just choose not to. They like to fly overseas to lecture us about reducing our “carbon footprint” all the while they do nothing to lower their own. 3️⃣ Wealthier alarmists are still living on or buying oceanfront property. If ocean levels were really rising at a catastrophic rate (as opposed to the gradual increase that is actually occurring), then they would move inland and banks would not approve loans. 4️⃣ Alarmists rarely, if ever criticize China and India, and they always come up with all sorts of wonderful excuses as to why those nations get a free pass to continue emitting so-called “carbon pollution.” 5️⃣ The only solutions they offer involve increased governmental power. Higher taxes. EV mandates. Restrictions or bans on the energy sectors they don’t like. And, as an added bonus, no real-world data proves, much less suggests that we are facing an “existential crisis.” Even the IPCC doesn’t use such rhetoric because it isn’t based on science. I don’t deny that climate change exists. It always has. And, I don’t even deny that at least some of the increase in temperatures is anthropogenic. But I just don’t care because it isn’t that big of a deal. Extreme weather cannot be taxed away. Our vulnerability will continue to increase so long as we build in disaster-prone areas. Politicians cannot take our wallets and set a thermostat on the planet.

I’m sick of lukewarm Christians and unbelievers twisting Scripture to justify cowardice. “Love your neighbor” and “love your enemies” does NOT mean affirming sin, excusing evil, or staying silent while people walk straight toward destruction. That’s not love, that’s apathy dressed up as virtue. Biblical love is bold. It tells the truth. It warns. It confronts. It cares more about someone’s eternal soul than their temporary comfort. Real love says: repent, turn to God, and receive the free gift of salvation, because hell is real and truth matters. The modern church has perverted love into tolerance. But love that refuses to speak truth is not love at all, it’s betrayal.
