I have NEVER seen this in my 13+ years gardening! This is an albino cucumber, in the sense that it has a genetic mutation to either not synthesize chlorophyll or not even produce chlorophlasts (the things that synthezize chlorophyll) You can tell it's a true albino because the stem is also pure white. It's smaller than the rest of the cucumber seedlings as well... You might be wondering how it was even able to survive to this point - don't plants need chlorophyll to photosynthesize? YES, they do - but seeds have a little trick up their sleeves in the fact that they have endosperm, which is basically energy from the parent plant that produced the seed it "packs" into the seed to help them get through the first 1-2 weeks of life It's highly unlikely this plant will survive another week, so it's VERY cool to catch this phenomenon!

They switched from ISOs to NSOs and extended the exercise window a bit back.
You could also opt to convert your ISOs to NSOs to get the extended window if you didn’t want to front the cash to exercise (but this is not as good for taxes)
Also if you’ve been there for 4-5 years the strike price isn’t that bad.

Today was my last day at Vercel.
It was a hard decision. Vercel was not just a job. It was ZEIT. My first app, first deployment, first open source contribution. The dream opportunity to work with Next.js.
It was five years. Sweating over naming, mental models, progressive disclosure. Explaining, re-explaining, iterating. It was dozens of diagrams and videos, hundreds of docs, thousands of words, endless feedback. It was the tension between craft and speed. Hype, whiplash, and growth. It was for the web.
I'm thankful to Vercel for letting me be part of its journey, as much as it was a part of mine 🖤
