Incredible song, Lata already singing at an absolute peak level, and you think, "This literally can't get any better." Enters Kishore Kumar with "tum jo keh do to aaj ki raat chaand doobega nahi" and elevates it into a totally different dimension. The man was built different!

A year ago, our armed forces displayed unparalleled courage, precision and resolve during #OperationSindoor. They gave a fitting response to those who dared to attack innocent Indians at Pahalgam. The entire nation salutes our forces for their valour. Operation Sindoor reflected India’s firm response against terrorism and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security. It also highlighted the professionalism, preparedness and coordinated strength of our armed forces. At the same time, it showcased the growing jointness among our forces and underlined the strength that India’s quest for self-reliance in the defence sector has brought to our national security. Today, a year later, we remain as steadfast as ever in our resolve to defeat terrorism and destroy its enabling ecosystem.

Suvendu Adhikari has once again defeated Mamata Banerjee in a direct contest. In the 2021 elections, he defeated her in Nandigram. She then had her party’s winning candidate from Bhabanipur vacate the seat, contested the bypoll, and won. This time, Suvendu reached Bhabanipur and defeated her there as well. What a fighter and a leader!

India's grid just hit 277 GW. New all-time record. The May heatwave is now worse than April, and we have 3 more months of summer left. Here is what happened in the last 48 hours that nobody is talking about. 19 thermal power plants are running on critical coal stock — less than 4 days of supply. Rajasthan imported 6 GW from neighbouring grids, 50 percent more than its allocation. Two states issued load-shedding orders despite the Centre telling them not to. The grid frequency dropped to 49.75 Hz three times yesterday. For non-engineers: below 49.7 Hz, automatic load-shedding kicks in to prevent cascade failure. We are 0.05 Hz away from automatic blackouts. Solar is doing its job during the day — 62 GW at noon. But the evening ramp is becoming unsurvivable. Between 5 PM and 7 PM, the grid needs to add 55 GW in two hours as solar drops off. That ramp rate did not exist in any planning document. India's power planners assumed 277 GW by 2030. We hit it in May 2026. The gap between planning assumptions and reality is now 4 years. Every infrastructure investment thesis in India needs to be rewritten starting with this number.

Imagine your mother is due for a total hip replacement. On the way to the OT, you learn the orthopedician operating on her had scored 4/800 in the PG entrance. Would you still have the courage to let the surgery proceed? This is no longer hypothetical. An MS Orthopaedics seat at a govt institute in Rohtak was allotted in the third counselling to a candidate with just 4/800. At a premier Delhi medical college, a Gynaecology seat went to someone who scored 44/800, and a General Surgery seat was filled at 47/800. It’s high time patients started asking about the NEET PG scores of their doctors. Your health should not be left at the mercy of social justice or buisness policies of the republic.

Wonderful to speak with my dear friend President Trump today. Delighted that Made in India products will now have a reduced tariff of 18%. Big thanks to President Trump on behalf of the 1.4 billion people of India for this wonderful announcement. When two large economies and the world’s largest democracies work together, it benefits our people and unlocks immense opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. President Trump’s leadership is vital for global peace, stability, and prosperity. India fully supports his efforts for peace. My son completed his 5th rabies vaccine dose yesterday after an unprovoked scratch by a street dog. One incident meant weeks of anxiety and injections. Many families face this silently. Stray dog menace is a public health crisis.

What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.

I urge all Dogras of Jammu to ignore these deracinated, anonymous handles that lack identity and speak only to demean and betray the Dogra community. Dogras stand united in this struggle against Kashmiri hegemony and New Delhi’s continued neglect of Jammu. We stand by all Jammuites who are speaking up for Jammu. Attack on our people by puppets of Kashmiri Politicians will not be tolerated.

World’s oldest civilization, the only one to survive unbroken since Bronze Age, shone in full glory last night. A testament to over four millennia of resilience against invasions, suppression, and the tides of history, while retaining its sacred wisdom, rituals, and traditions.
