Hey @Avis , I booked a car to pick up tonight--I'm President's Club--but my flight was delayed. When I got to the airport at 2:30 AM, there was no way to pick up my car, so I'm stranded at the airport until you open at 8:00 AM. Ridiculously bad customer service.

@rustonpierce @AmericanAir They suck in every way. It's sad how far they have fallen, especially since I now live in one of their hub cities.

I have now been on 9 @AmericanAir flights in the last year and NONE of them had “free wi-fi and entertainment” as they advertise. On 4 of them I asked the attendant about it and got the same answer, “It’s currently down.” Just be honest. There is no wi-fi and entertainment.

@jesuiscam_ @AmericanAir They are a shadow of what they once were. Really, really bad. When bean counters run the company from top to bottom, you get crap products and service. It happens in almost every industry.

@doc_rudman @Publix I was just in Europe earlier this week. I can assure you that all food prices (groceries, restaurants, etc) are significantly lower than what we have here in the US. And, of course, everything tastes better because the source ingredients are better.

With so many prominent state politicians being from Central Florida, why is no one investigating @Publix? $20 a pound for roast beef? $9 “on sale” for lean ground beef? These are European prices! These prices have doubled while the prepackaged meats from other companies (Wahlburgers, Schweid) have only risen modestly. Is Publix gouging Floridians? @BillGreenwaldTX Yep, from best in the US to worst in a scant 2 decades. It has been incredibly sad to witness as they are now once again my hometown airline.

American Airlines Fails Again! American Airlines is the worst airline! Once again American Airlines has disrupted our vacation travel with no effort to take care of us. Our flight leaving Maui has been delayed multiple times that has now put the flight 7 1/2 hours past its scheduled takeoff. POOR communication with no help to get us on another flight. Of course there are many other families being hurt in addition to us. No gate agents to help! No proactive help to re book! We along with other families have now rescheduled on other flights connecting in other cities to get home and many of us have minors flying that we can't even get seats next to them. Some families have even moved to competing airlines to just get their families home. Over my business career and personal travel I have flown just shy of 900,000 miles on American and can't believe how bad they have become. If this was due to weather it would be a little more understandable but it is due to maintenance, THEIR FAULT and they are still not proactively helping any of their customers. I will now fly any other airline I can fly even when it requires connecting flights to avoid flying again with American Airlines! I would appreciate any of my friends that will repost this just to make sure they hear from more than just me. DON'T fly American Airlines!!! @AmericanAir

TROPICAL UPDATE: You're probably not seeing as many GFS (American) model runs today on social...for good reason. There's nothing to show! The American model historically over does it this time of the year on tropical development. Literally tries to spin-up anything, with most not panning out. You'll notice that it keeps trying to form something further into time now. When most/all deterministic models agree, when most ensemble members agree on a chance of development...we have something legitimate to talk about. Just a great reminder for now to watch out for hype social media pages that would rather get the clicks / money than inform. Make sure to always follow people you trust. 👍
