@AmerBIZ The government might change its policies in one day but people’s mentality is the real problem. Socialism and communism are cancers.

Iraqi government and KRG government both agree that the private sector needs to grow but Iraq itself is suffering from socialist mindset from Baath regime. In every developed country, companies benefit from the government, in Iraq companies are burdened with extra fees and higher taxes. Electricity fees are higher for companies compared to households. Companies use the grid during daytime when the load is low but still pays much more per kWh than households. Small commercial vehicles pay x3 fees and taxes for car registration and plate number than household. Property owners can forget to get a renter removed from the property or increase rent easily. A loss investment for commercial buildings. New policies and regulations could benefit the market quickly.

@julesvbertolino @linuz90 @culturedcode That philosophy is outdated because we didn’t have MCP then. I say that as a Things user since 2010. And we need attachments. That being said, there’s no better option for now.

@linuz90 @culturedcode There could be things to polish (repeating tasks or descriptions in areas or things like that), but the AI agent thing is the opposite of their philosophy I would say. If you need a tool that is capable of all that, Todoist will be perfect. Things is a simple tool

@846_dan @tgod34748 @k_josh98 @markgurman It’s not the same. iPadOS has multi-windows, resizable windows, menu bars, toolbars, pencil support. Developing & using apps are different. Not to mention iPhone Ultra is going to be 3x the price of an iPad Mini.

@tgod34748 @k_josh98 @markgurman Isn’t iOS, just iPadOS? When you develop apps, iPadOS isn’t there as it is just iOS. I just think it is a separate “brand” on the same technology

Coming very soon 👀 This work, which began about seven years ago, was abandoned and restarted approximately four times between then and now. It has also been rewritten three times. Finally, it is nearly ready. 2doapp.com

@viktor_pali @craftdocsapp Looks good but tasks needs tags. Currently, the only way to organize & filter tasks is time & document, tags for contexts filtering is essential for GTD.

@David_Ornside He’s right, and it’s not only him & that’s not the first tournament where this shit happens. This is exactly what Bruno Fernandes said in 2022. Seems like favoritism is going out of hand this time.

🚨🗣 Egypt's Coach Hossam Hassan couldn't control himself after full-time: "I will say what's on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it" "And I want to say one more thing, if they want them [Argentina] to win so bad, why call everyone to come and participate?"

Incredible Egyptian goal is disallowed because of a foul far away, then same situation a few minutes later and goal for Argentina not disallowed! No VAR, nothing? FIFA again looks like a corrupt joke, playing favorites for stars.

🤯 We thought the Apple ecosystem lock-in was strong before… Siri AI might take it to a whole new level. As someone who’s been a lifelong Spotify, Google Maps, and Gmail user, I’m suddenly questioning all of that. Because right now, Siri AI shines with Apple’s own apps. The deeper the integration gets, the more tempting Apple Music, Maps, and Mail become. It’s a fascinating shift. For years, the best third-party apps won on features. But if AI becomes the new interface, native apps may win simply because they’re the ones Siri understands best. 🍎 The walled garden just got taller. Curious what everyone thinks: Are you sticking with your favorite third-party apps, or is Siri AI making you reconsider? 👀 #iOS27 #AppleIntelligence #SiriAI

@BasicAppleGuy @dayone I’ve been using it since 2011, and it’s not about paying for a subscription. I’d actually pay to remove AI features & banner. They should focus on more important features & design. Apple Journal looks so much better.

I’ve been using @DayOne since day one and already pay for the app. Forcing an unremovable “Upgrade to Day One Gold” banner unless I upgrade to the highest AI tier feels less like a feature prompt and more like a penalty for loyal customers.
