@NVIDIAAI recently released InstantSplat which allows for fast 3D reconstruction, so I decided I wanted to make a demo of it using @rerundotio and @Gradio! It's one of the fastest ways to go from sparse images -> Gaussian splat I've come across. pablovela5620-instant-splat.hf.space

@_lightmapper @unitygames I appreciate your input. I’ve always struggled to get good lighting without tons of iterations. Especially for anything baked. URP for us is as much about longevity as is it is about performance and fidelity. Took me a while to

@monoganog @unitygames Because I think the Built-In version has a better Light Model than URP, the shadows are more stable. Some of the good reasons to switch to the URP version would be Volumetric Light, Screen Space Reflection that can work well.

@unitygames While there was a great opportunity to continue developing with the Built-In, you divided the Unity Engine into HDRP and URP with the SRP. I'm trying to continue using the Built-In and demonstrate its power, but unfortunately, it has started to become insufficient.
