Over the past year, my Obsidian vault has exploded! 🤯
This timelapse is a representation of the connections my brain made over time.
Thanks to mentors like @NickMilo, @n_vanderhoeven, and @zsviczian, my life has never been more organised.

🚨 A developer just built the personal intelligence terminal governments pay millions for.
It's called Crucix and it runs on your own machine for free.
Here's what it actually does:
It pulls from 26 open-source intelligence feeds in parallel every 15 minutes and renders everything on a single Jarvis-style dashboard:
→ NASA satellite fire and thermal anomaly detection
→ Real-time ADS-B flight tracking across 6 hotspot regions
→ Maritime vessel tracking including "dark ships" going off radar
→ Radiation monitoring near 6 nuclear sites (Safecast + EPA RadNet)
→ Armed conflict events battles, explosions, protests (ACLED)
→ UN humanitarian crisis tracking + WHO disease outbreak alerts
→ US Treasury sanctions and global sanctions lists
→ FRED economic indicators yield curve, CPI, VIX, M2
→ Live market data SPY, QQQ, BTC, Gold, WTI, VIX
→ 17 curated Telegram OSINT/conflict/finance channels
→ Social sentiment from Bluesky and Reddit
→ Global HF radio receiver network (KiwiSDR, ~600 receivers)
And it's not just a dashboard. It's a two-way intelligence assistant.
Connect an LLM and it:
- Evaluates signals across all 26 sources simultaneously
- Classifies alerts into FLASH / PRIORITY / ROUTINE tiers
- Generates AI trade ideas grounded in real cross-domain data
- Responds to /brief, /sweep, /status commands from your phone
The Telegram and Discord bots work with zero LLM too. Rule-based engine takes over automatically.
Zero cloud. Zero telemetry. Zero subscriptions.
18+ sources require no API keys at all. The 3 that unlock the most value (NASA FIRMS, FRED, EIA) are all free and take 60 seconds to register.
node server.mjs and you're running.
100% Opensource. MIT License.

Self Disclosure Privacy using ZK Proofs, Demonstrated & Executed Directly on Cardano Preview
I built a demo where a customer buys a beer and proves they are 18 or over, without ever showing their ID. No name. No birth year. No photo. Just maths.
Two beers were ordered. Two separate transactions. The same proof, reused, no re-verification needed. The blockchain recorded "age verified" both times. That's all it knows. No name. No address. No date of birth. No photo. No personal data of any kind.
This runs entirely and directly on Cardano. No sidechains. No L2s. No off-chain verification. The ZK proof is checked by the Plutus V3 validator itself, on-chain, using Groth16.
And this isn't just for bars, it works for shops, website signups, any age-restricted service. One credential, reused anywhere. Self disclosure means you choose what to share, and in this case, the customer chose to share nothing except "yes, I'm old enough, give me a nice cold beer." 🍺
Massive shout out to everybody involved in the below!
Aiken smart contract language on Cardano (please don't judge my Aiken... I know it's bad 😂)
ak-381 by Modulo-P, Groth16 SNARK verification library for BLS12-381 on Aiken
Circom + snarkjs, ZK circuit design and proof generation
MeshSDK, transaction building and wallet management
Blockfrost, blockchain data provider
A basic demo to set the stage for further privacy enhancements that can occur directly on Cardano.
Self disclosure privacy on Cardano
Cheers Cardano 🍻🍻

Interesting notes from the art:
1. The black ship is different from the rest, perhaps implying two separate entities. (black ship = baddies?)
2. the cylinders emit orbs (tic tac's distribute orbs over longer distances)
3. the cross configuration of 3 + 1 orbs follows Patrick's 'Sphere Network' theory and observations
Was this a war over Earth?
Are the orbs the good guys or the bad guys?
Are 'we' the resource they're fighting over?

@chrisramsay52 Would love to see you in SE Asia - there's plenty of weirdness here, just not in English language.

Hi, my name is literally David
And I’m going a year without screens in 22 days (down from 10h+ per day)
While tracking:
- Neuroimaging (fMRI + MRI)
- Cognitive + motor tests (very comprehensive)
- 131 blood-based biomarkers (@superpower)
- Sleep and activity data (@ouraring)
- Vision exam
- Hearing exam
- And more
I’m excited to see what the data show
We all deserve to know more about how our devices in their current form are affecting us

@PJaccetturo I've had this exact scene in my head since I read the 2nd book last year - an EPIC moment and worth spending tokens to make awesome!
English

Story background:
This is actually a passage from book 2, but I’ve always felt like this sequence is the best microcosm of the series as a whole (yet has minimal spoilers).
Darrow (main character) and his crew are escaping in a small ship and have to run an entire armada that is blockading their escape back to friendly territory.
Darrow hatches a crazy plan to launch himself as a missile onto the 5km long capital ship’s bridge, and start a revolt from within the ship, having the lower classes revolt against their Gold overlords.
This is where Darrow meets Ragnar, who is an absolute titan of carnage.
Born into his own type of slavery, Ragnar relishes the chance to strike back at his captors and join a leader that may free his people.
The Red Rising series is an epic tale of rebellion against an oppressive caste system, and this scene encapsulates that meta-story.

I have been a citizen of two countries of the British Commonwealth as I grew up (Sri Lanka and Canada) before I emigrated to America 26 years ago.
I used to look up to Britain. I admired their institutions. Mostly, I was deeply proud of their heritage and customs.
But their current course and speed will lead to collapse and demise.
How has a country so historically great become so self-loathing?
How did the “Empire on which the sun never sets” become this broken and backwards?
There are many dark lessons to be learned here about the ravages of rampant immigration, guilt, censorship and national decay.

The UK government flagged these books (among others) as potential signs of far-right extremism. List includes Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Hobbes' Leviathan, Milton's Paradise Lost. You may be an extremist if you've read these. What else would you add to the list?
