@kwakujaay Well, Nigerians aren’t angry enough; we prefer to let other Africans treat us like this. Meanwhile, the whole country knows the actual problem: if your country is better, why run to another? This isn’t the talk for today, but I don’t support xenophobia.

Xenophobic South Africans attempted to attack the White (migrant) community and they retaliated. This is satisfying to watch. This is why the cowards only have power over black African immigrants. They are too afraid to dare the White community in the country!✍️

I was in this African country and someone asked me if I was from African. I had to pause and regroup, because why would an AFRICAN ask if I’m from Africa? Until I realized they didn’t consider themselves African. lol

@DejiofGod @SafoNative There’s no reason for people with almost nothing in common to unite under the banner of “Africa”. Only common interests like should unite people. When that doesn’t exist, they should be treated as any foreigner.
NAIJA@n4ij4

@lydiaforson what does being African mean? what does the Mandinka of west africa have in common with the San of southern africa to make them all african, as in part of one group? it is only suffering/struggle that unites Africa as a whole and withouth it, the fake unity fails

@imTrafalgar @nifemi_os @lydiaforson You’re arguing fantasy, not fact. Africa is not a country waiting to happen. It is a continent of many countries and many peoples. Alliances can be built; a fake monolith cannot.

@n4ij4 @nifemi_os @lydiaforson That’s the point. Both of those countries individually have higher populations than the entirety of Africa combined and comparable diversity Therefore a unified Africa would be no less possible of an achievement as they are. So why do you criticise pan-africanists then?

@surecooker @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson if u have nothing in common with someone except suffering and u want to unite with them, then you are uniting under suffering -- instead of share values, which is the only thing anyone with sense should unite under, not struggle or hate of others...

@n4ij4 @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson "so yea, unity under suffeirng.. when suffering is over? disunity comes back..." Thats what you said in the last reply and again its not unity under suffering its unity to combat said suffering a shared interest If you dont what to unite to combat suffering then why?

@imTrafalgar @nifemi_os @lydiaforson India and China are countries. what unifies their diverse groups is one government, one passport, one constitution. 'African' has no equivalent. the real comparison is 'Asian' — and nobody argues a Filipino and a Saudi are one people just because they share a continent.

@n4ij4 @nifemi_os @lydiaforson No mass number of people is ever composed of a single ethno-linguistic group. India has gujuratis, punjabs, moguls etc. China has over 300 indigenous languages & people groups. However,l there is something that makes them distinct that we can say ‘India’ & ‘China’ singularly.

@surecooker @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson so you see, like ive said earlier, Africans only unifying factor is suffering and struggle... and when theres no suffering, the disunity comes back. this why pan africanism is very bad

@n4ij4 @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson I do agree those union are compromised but its to prevent unity because all afircans would benefit from it went outside powers would want that This shared interest against these outside powers is exactly why pan africanism exists

@surecooker @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson Comparing Africa to the USA is nonsense. America is one country under one constitution. Africa is a continent of 54 sovereign nations and thousands of ancient, distinct peoples. You do not get to erase thousands of years of separate histories just to manufacture a fake identity.

@n4ij4 @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson Well they do and its simple as self determination and safety a divided africa cannot deal on equal footing on the world stage and this will be perpetually abused identity isnt created through genetics but shared goal for example a nation like the usa

@knowthyselv @surecooker @lydiaforson like i said, bringing up European when talking of African proves you have no idea what europe is or its history. Europeans have the ame ancestry and same goals form their ancestry, its not the same for africa. if u wanna compare, use asia and show me the Asian Union

@n4ij4 @surecooker @lydiaforson doesn’t still make any differences calling urself African just like Europeans identify as Europeans. They recognize their differences and build their strength in their similarities. They are smart like that, y’all are killing yourselves. U r different, so what?

@surecooker @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson Africa does not have any aligned goal at all, because Africans are not one people, u people are just trying to force it, cos u think it in best interest, but its not African Union is fake and foreign controlled by proxy, same as ECOWAS There is no such thing as african identity

@n4ij4 @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson The reason way the chinese and indias dont have a united identity or even seek one is because there goals and interests arent As shown by history no african country individually can trust those outside africa thus uniting is a no brainer 2/2

@surecooker @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson the only thing the entire africa has in common is suffering and struggle, which is what u pan africanists like to unite under... why that kind of unity is dumb is because when there is no struggle n suffering, its back to disunity. Africa has no shared continent wide identity.

@n4ij4 @OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @lydiaforson As to pan africanism the idea is simple if you are in africa it is in your best interest to unite with other africans because african have aliging interests in almost every area This is also true of europeans and muslims hence they have a similar thing 1/2

@OJ______Pimpson @dndelne @surecooker @lydiaforson its daft to be from algeria and ask a person from congo if theyre fomr africa, cos its a stupid question and africa is not a country and the question is redundant asking what part of africa one is from makes far more sense, since africa has parts n is not a single unified entity

@n4ij4 @dndelne @surecooker @lydiaforson I'm no pan African but it doesn't make sense to be an Algerian and asking someone from Congo are you from Africa. "What part of Africa are you from?" ''African" is not even an ethnic or racial identity

@knowthyselv @surecooker @lydiaforson europe is not asia or africa... they mostlyshare a common indo-european ancestry. the similarity between a british, italian and a swede are faaaar mor than the similarity between an Ijaw and fulani in the same country in africa if u wanna copy, understand and copy correct
