@thecookerycloud @PoD_travelnews Yep, 1.5 hours so far just to get to Border Control
English

@PoD_travelnews Incorrect, it’s at least 1 hour 30 minutes. Very poor traffic management causing bottlenecks which could be avoided.
English

#TrafficUpdate at #PortofDover at 21h. There is a 60-minute processing time before Border Controls. Thank you for your cooperation.

English

@SW_Help Why between those dates when the line closed before that?
My ticket for 10/12/23 could not be used
English

@SW_Help rejected delay repay claim. ‘we are unable to find a timetabled journey that matches your claim’
I had to upload the ticket showing this journey for the claim - what more evidence can I provide?!
English

@RonRuttle @POferriesupdate The strikes did not come as a surprise overnight. Taking basic supplies such as food and drink for the expected delays would be wise for anyone, let alone someone accompanying 40 children!
English

@POferriesupdate Your not sorry about thousands of children being deprived access to food and drink are you.never travel with you again.you could have done things to help.
English

@POferriesupdate what an utter nightmare in Calais, why don't you filter on departure times, never will I travel with you again.
English

@ReephamPE How’s it going? We’re en route for a late night crossing
English

@TamLivvy @GWRHelp There is a train that stopped at Reading going to Plymouth, which is going onwards to take passengers to Cornwall. It was the first train to leave Paddington so although inconvenient, I don’t think your detour will have a negative impact on arrival time if you got on this train.
English

@GWRHelp your staff told my little girl and I to get off the Paddington to Cornwall 18.04 and get a train from Waterloo to reading, which I am doing. Now to find our train from Paddington did leave, and now no trains will run from reading when we get there at 20.42! Stranded!
English

@benclatworthy @GWRHelp Yes, Monday morning commute in was even worse than this one looks to be!
English

TRAVEL: Miserable Friday evening commute for thousands as all lines out of Paddington Station blocked for the second time this week because of damage to overhead cables (again) 🚊
Delays expected until at least 8pm but probably later 🕰️
#EalingBroadway #Paddington @GWRHelp

English

@HughWoozencroft @whiteside92 Travelling into London today was not the smoothest to say the least
English

@whiteside92 Did I expect GWR to destroy their own overhead lines or did I expect an incident on the line involving the police on 2 separate train providers and two separate routes?
NO. WHY? Because it shouldn't happen.
Why the hell would it?
English

Sooooo... Police have requested train line is closed between Datchet and Windsor and Eton Riverside.
No trains from Paddington and No trains into Windsor from Waterloo.
Absolutely f****ng outstanding.
Hugh Woozencroft@HughWoozencroft
I'm being forced to travel into Windsor. Pray for me.
English

@ianrowbo @SoVeryBritish I survived last night based on camaraderie alone, late night expedition will be as sociable as a daytime one!
English

@SoVeryBritish I was considering joining the queue, before I started to hear shocking reports on the radio of people in it ‘exchanging stories’ and chatting with their neighbours… might have to plan a late night expedition
English

We are now sharing updates on the queue length to attend Her Majesty The Queen’s Lying-in-State

@TheTennisTalker Should be soon now. Joined at 20:00 and saw her at 04:40
English

@lists_uk @davidellisfan @DCMS @RoyalFamily Once you reach the end of the zig zags it really is quick and manageable from there!
English

@damoconnelly @owenbaily1982 @mattespeaker @DCMS @RoyalFamily Joined at 20:00, still queueing now 6.5 hours later and they’ve just shut the hall for an hour to clean.
English

@owenbaily1982 @mattespeaker @DCMS @RoyalFamily @owenbaily1982 is it possible for an update on how long it has taken you? Keen to join tomorrow evening but have work st 9am next day. Would hate to have to leave it after getting so close.
English

@lists_uk @DCMS @RoyalFamily I was told that the zigzags at the end of the queue can take up to 4 hours...it appears the actual queue length is much longer than the physical distance from start to finish due to the significant number of switchbacks (zigzags).
English

@wafflebangbang Have you made it yet or have you joined us sat on the floor while they clean for an hour? 🥲😂
English

Update 6.5 hours in “the queue”, started at 18.35 London Bridge, finish line in sight but the last 3.5 hrs have been a drag in the endless snaking queue system. It’s not 30 hours but north side of Lambeth Bridge feels like it! #lyinginstate #queen

English

The queue at London Bridge is moving at 1 mile per hour, travelled 0.4 miles in 25 minutes, so estimated total time to Westminster hall is 3 hours total from London Bridge at this pace…NOT 30 hours!!! #lyinginstate #queen

@veggiepret Always the best experience in my daily visits to the Cardinal Place branch. Special thanks to Roshnee and Viviana for always being so kind to and acknowledging the children I come in with 😁
