$SHAK is getting smoked, down almost 30%, after missing guidance and blaming it on weather impacts in January and March.
More specifically, they say the weather contributed to 240 bps of negative sales comp, which comes after last quarter where they blamed a 400 bps sales on the weather.

hotels aren't like that. and if anything most airbnbs are mediocre quality and cannot replace a 5* hotel at all.

Why did Uber decimate the taxi industry but Airbnb hasn’t affected the hotel industry as much?
In both cases, the supply increased massively in the form of new competition, but somehow hotels have been way more resilient and the large groups are thriving.

I have dined at majority of all the “hot spot” in Miami and the food is levels below NYC. You can say Miami is better than NYC in some ways but saying the food being better is the probably the most absurd thing lol
