@nikolacupic @dodeja You can’t invest in it. The only way it becomes investable is regulatory crackdown and then betting in tele health like $hims or stick with $lily in the hopes for things past reta. Or am I missing something ?

Semaglutide alone (one single peptide) generated $34.6 billion in sales in 2025. OpenAI hit $20B revenue that year. So a single peptide out-earned ChatGPT by 1.7x. And that's before Eli Lilly's tirzepatide, which added another $25B.

Wow… what a chessboard this could be ♟️ What if this is all strategic? What if Trump is dismantling the old system piece by piece… forcing a reset? Closing the Strait of Hormuz would shake the world’s oil supply to its core 🌍 And suddenly… dependence shifts. Back to American energy. Back to American manufacturing. Back to self-reliance. While the rest of the world scrambles through the chaos, the U.S. fortifies, stabilizes, and stands on its own foundation 🇺🇸 It sounds wild… but also strangely calculated. If this is the plan, it’s not checkers. It’s high-stakes, endgame chess. I hope there’s truth to it::

@robientile @mattepstein @grok No it’s not 🙄 it’s bs. The article claims a ton of shit that isn’t even true in theory. For instance twitter API access of all post. Complete nonsense. It’s AI generated slop in text form.

@mattepstein It’s just lies , for instance they claim their agent would scrape viral tweets through API access. Anybody who ever tried to get meaningfull data out of twitter knows that’s a lie since api access is not public and unthrottled. BS…

@Regenerated_com @hubermanlab It’s not all bad, there is also a lot of bad product on the market , e.g. not correctly sterilised vails, to low of concentration, etc. if there is money to be made the us will find a way to push it over to the commercial side but might also result in better product

The BPC situation is what worries me most tbh. So many people with gut issues and autoimmune stuff were getting real relief from it through compounding pharmacies. Now that access is getting squeezed, a lot of them are going to end up back on biologics or just suffering. Clean compounders can't scale fast enough.

Consider this arc: peptides were around in niche communities, GLPs from Pharma then exploded, people realized they could take less or source them elsewhere, regulation enters & now gray & black market are going bye-bye & companies like HIMs & clean compounders are set to soar.

@hubermanlab @thoughtsntrades @hubermanlab this and also they will take away the payment rails for credit cards through FDA + FINRA joint enforcement forcing people to use crypto which has more friction. So the average Joe will just go for $hims and other b2c rounds with broad distribution.

@researcher4life @Pascu_Exodus @burrytracker Yes but how are high future P/Es justified if these are based on currently people buying adobe creative cloud licenses for their entire org. Firefly can be purchased as stand alone. Adobe could not even beat figma and they are smarter with acquisitions like Weevy ai recently

@MeadowCapital I bought in around $8ish. The issue with their 'weight loss' treatment if I recall is that people didn't lose weight or at least not much. However. They did gain muscle, so there's optimism.

@prosperousguy @NEJM @NEJMClinician @BageLeMage Exactly !!! Haha - this “science” is commical. By the way, There are studies in that meta that controlled for movement and diatrry changes and they show sustained weight loss. @RNAiAnalyst In this meta are studies that controlled for that (movement and dietary changes) and they showed sustained weight. Just the majority of the studies did not. So people that were fat, and eat like sh… and did not move. Became fat again after eating less before due to GLPs. Lol.

$NVO is right to defend their patent. $HIMS is right to defend patients. But what's actually being fought over is a much bigger, secular trend, which could make both businesses exponentially bigger.

@investwithdanj @ondrejslunecko Yea I agree. HIMS move is not genius but desperate. No way they are getting through with this. They can’t just “invent” a new product, based on patented research. Pharma is not ethical, yes. But no one will invest in the studies if anyone can rip it off afterwards.

@ondrejslunecko Without patent protection the pharmaceutical industry doesn't work. No company will spend billions on R&D and acquisitions if companies like $HIMS can sell similars as soon as new products are released. I don't see $HIMS winning this case but let's see.

from a friend on $HIMS "I work in big pharma, let me tell you this is the closest the industry has been to being truly disrupted in a LONG LONG time. Furthermore, pharma has almost unlimited resources between the companies themselves and the trade association(s). Pharma influences absolutely everything and they have power over all US media and heavy heavy influence in public policy way beyond just insurance and access to healthcare. I’m quite impressed with what HIMS has done to “shock the system” obviously this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best for their short-term stock price, but given global positioning both of HIMS itself and also drug pricing, pharma is being gutted by recent regulatory changes. The Most Favored Nation policy is truly disrupting the status quo, time will tell how pharma adjusts to these developments, they are used to long timescales despite being publicly traded. FWIW I’m DCA’ing in because their leadership team is top notch and could be the difference maker for them. The risk is there but as discussed above there are multiple mitigations which could at least LONG TERM (which I think most of us are here for?) will provide upside."

Both the moon and Mars are a complete waste of time and money, because both environments are unlivable. The moon is bombarded by deadly cosmic rays, and moon dust is razor sharp. Astronauts will lose bone density and become weak. The moon and Mars don't have a magnetosphere. Solar flares and cosmic rays will bombard you all the time. The moon also has extreme temperature fluctuations - from +130 C to -130 C. Neither the moon nor Mars has an atmosphere. Technically, Mars does, but it is so thin that it is practically a vacuum. There's no point in going to these dead places. Only an idiot with a death wish will volunteer to even go live in these places. Try to make the earth a more livable place. This is the only place with a living biosphere. If you cannot make this work, how are you going to make a place with no biosphere work?

For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years. The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars. It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city. That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.

@nikoliasgoninus There is no shortage. If the FDA would let that one slide why should any company keep investing in trails and go by the (FDA) rules if you can just rip off the IP from another company or don’t do the studies at all. Even the grey market sites stopped selling it.
