Am I missing something? Palm Beach has been represented by a Democrat in Congress for 13 years. Joe Biden won PB County by 16 points. Harris won it by 5. I'm really confused by the over-extrapolating from a state house seat in a blue county with a D +6 voter registration advantage.

Hasan Piker is an unapologetic antisemite. Democrats risk losing our credibility to condemn those on the right who traffic in bigotry, antisemitism, & hate when our own Members of Congress & candidates are celebrating or, worse yet, platforming those who espouse hate of any kind.

This is exactly right. They include any group that has the word "jewish" in their name. To their credit they don't try to hide it. But no one learns anything useful about the moral compass of Congress when you compare things like this:

I am a Democrat. I served in the Clinton administration. I did not vote for Donald Trump and am highly unlikely to support him or his acolytes in the future. I also have serious disagreements with many of the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policies. But it is profoundly disturbing that a growing segment of the far left appears to be almost rooting for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other forces fundamentally opposed to the United States and our allies. This seems to reflects a corrosive strain of anti-Americanism, dressed up in postcolonial theory, that risks blinding us to the moral realities of our world and the nature of our adversaries.

The Democratic Party has been infected by antisemitism and it’s spreading. It isn’t (yet) as virulent as it is on the right, but it’s insidious and we have to stop pretending it doesn’t exist.

There is no genocide in Gaza. This is obvious to anyone with a brain. Which means those promoting the genocide claim are engaging in a deliberate and vindictive demonisation of the Jewish state that mocks the memory of those who suffered real genocides.

Synagogues getting shot at, burned down and Jews randomly getting attacked and we have candidates throwing around phrases like “AIPAC” “Oversees interest” and “War on Gaza” as political code words and old Jewish Tropes to prove they’re somehow “better Democrats” than those of us who believe in Israel’s right to exist. That rhetoric has consequences. Don’t pretend the anti-Israel nonsense in our politics doesn’t fuel extremists. I will continue to say it clearly: antizionism is antisemitism. PERIOD. Both Jews and Muslims deserve to live in peace. We’ve seen this hate play out before.
