BREAKING: For the first time since the start of the war, Iran’s IRGC announces the complete destruction of 3 F-35 fighter jets and significant damage to 3 others at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, through multiple ballistic missiles targeting the deployment ramp and maintenance hangar this morning, per Tasnim. Iran had not previously announced the destruction of an F-35. The IRGC adds several US officers and maintenance personnel were also killed at the base. The strike comes in response to a US strike on 2 residential homes on Qeshm Island earlier this morning, killing a father, mother, and their 2-year-old child, and injuring 2 other children.

Beside China DUV machine is said to be not as good as ASML equivalent and need to use some important component from Japan

Except DUV can make almost everything EUV makes: it's a question of cost, not capability. With multipatterning (exposing the same layer multiple times), immersion DUV produces 7nm chips and can in principle reach 5nm. As you yourself hint, SMIC makes Huawei's 7nm smartphone and Ascend AI chips this way. What EUV buys you is doing in one exposure what DUV needs 3-4 for so you get better yields and faster throughput, but the end result is advanced chips all the same.

They just announced they are now charging a toll for all ships that go through the Straight of Hormuz The fee has to be paid in their local currency, and any country that participated in the war has to pay an ADDITIONAL fee.
