Yesterday on behalf of the @standwithcrypto New York chapter a group of builders and advocates sent letters to the offices of @RepRitchie and @RepGregoryMeeks to support and swiftly pass the bipartisan CLARITY Act. Backed by 150K NY advocates, the bill would provide clear rules for digital assets, protect consumers, unlock growth and provide the regulatory clarity that developers, users, and advocates need to continue innovating.
Stablecoin regulation is a bipartisan issue, and the GENIUS Act reflects bipartisan consensus. Thanks to @SenatorHagerty, @SenLummis, and @SenatorTimScott, in particular, for keeping the ball rolling on this issue. I hope that in the future we will be able to take up bipartisan legislation without Democrats creating these unnecessary delays.
