Kinda crazy how generally just unpleasant @Starbucks has been lately. Downtown Ann Arbor location has two employees working. They’re doing all they can. Super long wait. Online orders rolling in superseding people ordering in person. Pay your people more.

And why can’t whomever owns the rolls Royce engines sell them to someone who will convert them into data center turbines? Why does the fact that spirit leased them have anything to do with this? Everyone keeps saying leasing like it’s something i overlooked. Well they’re leased. Yes correct and those leases are now broken. Why can’t the ultimate asset owners (who had credit control in the spirit negotiations) re-allocate their assets elsewhere?

Why did spirit airlines not take the bailout/gov deal? The engines can be converted to natgas turbines for data centers. Spirit has about 6.5GW worth of engines once converted. The conversion takes about 30-45 days once the factory is ramped which takes about a year. And then the cost is roughly $1000-$1250/kw v $2250/kw for new turbines. With turbine lead times being 9+ years and a cost nearly double. This could be a major win. Spirit had 131 or so planes each with 2 engines, each engine does 25mw. Give or take 6.5GW as said above. The conversion cost is about $3 bn and takes 18-24 months. Vs. 108 months and $15 bn for new natgas turbines. Someone is going to make a killing. FYI if you’re about it, I recommend @MatthewChang to build the conversion factory.

Finally… the old 3D printing YouTubers are trying to resurrect their dead channels by copying me. A little late now to save 3D printing from bad legislation, but it is good to see that after months of silence, they’re finally showing up for the views in the lane I created. Remember just a month ago when I said 3D printing was small enough that one voice could change it? 😁 My advice: don’t just copy me. Be original. Go build something different. There’s a whole YouTube out there. 😊

Up late studying metrics... and I may have just unlocked 20 million views a month. This is our current 28 days...

@FreedomTaliban @LibertyLockPod I think this government is beyond listening to protest or public opinion. Approval ratings at an all time low, nearly every measurable indicator heading in the wrong direction, but Trump is insulated from reality by his staff and himself. What would protest do?

Too early to say this with certainty but I believe this is likely how we got here: 12/29/25: Netanyahu visits Trump for the 7th time in a year where they decided to proceed with funneling weapons to the protestors via the Kurds First week of January: Kurds don't deliver the weapons but as Pompeo said there were Mossad operatives on the ground. They decide to proceed with limited weaponry, still turning peaceful protests into violent ones. IRGC cracks down hard. Israel now has what it needs: a sales pitch to the West. "We have to liberate them!" February 28th, 2026: Trump, surrounded by sycophants and Israeli operatives, becomes convinced that he can strike the leadership of Iran and they will NOT shut down the Strait of Hormuz. Despite everyone on earth knowing that will be the immediate response by Iran, he is totally blind sided. Now it's too late. Israel has him locked in. To re-open the Strait will require a major ground invasion. Not just to re-open but to keep it open, a ground invasion will be mandatory. Trump spirals. Threatens allies. Demands that China or the EU or anyone else do it. No one will. Obviously. Just as Israeli intel knew. Either Trump accepts defeat and looks weak or he destroys his legacy and launches a major ground war in Iran. Which is what they've been driving us towards for 30+ years. Knowing his personality type they bank on him going with the suicidal ground invasion option. Trump tries option 3: let's just threaten massive war crimes on Easter and hope they will cave. Bridges, power plants, etc. If he proceeds with this option Iran will wipe out, at minimum, major oil infrastructure in the GCC. Ensuring a global depression which will also destroy his legacy. So he has three options. All severely damaging. Tomorrow, we find out which decision he makes. The smart one: accept defeat. Look weak. Spin it as a victory and just come home. The crazy one: bomb their utilities and send oil to $200+ for the next couple years via the Iranian counter-attack. The insane one: ground invasion. Implement a draft. Go all in. (Or drop a nuke and become a pariah state) I'm not going to pretend I know which option he will choose. But it'll require an ego maniac to show humility for us to avoid the worst outcomes. So...yeah That's how we got here and why this is all so fucked. And this is why Tucker Csrlson went ballistic on him in his episode tonight. He, give or take, sees the same thing I do. Because Trump got rolled by Israel. Because he's dumb as shit. Or totally compromised.

Imagine if a documentary crew had been embedded with Oppenheimer, Fermi, and other scientists in the 1940s, watching history unfold in real time. Capturing the awe, the hope, the breakthroughs, and the world-changing decisions as they happened. We can’t travel back to the first Atomic Age. But we can be there for the second one. Right now, a new nuclear renaissance is quietly coming into existence. The technology, the visionaries, the political will, and the existential stakes are all colliding at once… and almost no one is telling the full story. Until now. I’m beyond thrilled to announce that I’m co-creating a multi-year epic documentary series called The Last Renaissance, together with award-winning director @TysonCulver. We’re gaining unprecedented, real-time access to the brilliant founders, new reactor designs, daring entrepreneurs, and the key players inside government who are rewriting humanity’s energy future. This is a civilization-level turning point that could reshape climate, geopolitics, prosperity, and even space exploration for the next century. This is the kind of story that only comes around once in a generation. I feel profoundly lucky to be in the room where it’s happening. And if you feel the call, if you’re as electrified by this moment as we are, we want you with us. Whether you’re an investor, a scientist, an engineer, a policymaker, or simply someone who believes this renaissance deserves to be witnessed by the world… Join us. The Atomic Age 2.0 is already underway. Let’s make sure the world doesn’t miss it.

Bud they arnt even close, like there was no drama in the Lm. No Neil smashing buttons, no Buzz questioning if he should follow Neil's commands, none of that. Its Hollywood drama. I complain because if you want to teach the younger generation , then dont interject imagination , it alone should stand on its own. Hell there is a long standing well made sim that you can fly every single mission in using proper physics and using the real software the computers ran in the spacecraft.

I'm trying to imagine the alternative history of WW2 if it looked like this war, and what the coverage might look like "It's January 11th, 1942, one month after Hitler declared war on the United States. Hitler, Goering, Bohrmann, and Himmler were all killed in an allied bombing attack on Hitler's headquarters, along with fifty other members of the German High Command. 95% of entire German navy is resting at the bottom of the North Sea. The Luftwaffe is no more. Allied aircraft achieved complete air superiority over Germany within 48 hours of the war's start. Still, many sophisticated commentators are saying that the Third Reich has the upper hand, because they have shut down travel through the Danish straits."
