I actually think NCHE should review Pharmaceutical Sciences and make it a diploma as it was meant to be; the clinical side of which is diploma in dispensing. That way someone can choose where they want to start and we'd have more people joining the workforce earlier in life🤝

@osborntushabe 😀🤣🤣🤣 a person with a PhD in cell biology. For your information, Biotech companies can't hire you with your Bsc because they deal with highly complex molecules that require technical knowledge in cellular processes and bioengineering. That's why most Quality heads have PhDs.

Pharmacy is a 5 yr progrm, a profession+ 6thyr of internshp(/ industry) PharmaceuticalTechnology of 3 yrs can't supervise pharmacists in manufacturing of drugs.
3yr short programs, lacking science on broad industrial practice can't supervise a 5 year program in a TECHNICAL AREA

Don't try to convert a Pharmaceutical Scientist to a Pharmacist because we are qualified and meets the requirements.
What exactly isn't in our course modules, in a faculty which you sphere head, which is wanting?

@jenta019 @EOC_UG The Pharmaceutical Society truly embraces everyone duly qualified in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences under the current minimum standards. These scientists truly belong in PSU and it should remain that way. Bridging courses shall be approved for those who miss certain modules.
