@lowles_nick This is exactly how the country would be run if proportional representation ever came in. Chaos. You just can’t get anything done with such extremes

Finding a way to run Birmingham city council, with its £4.4bn annual budget, is going to be a tall order. Reform has 22 councillors, Greens 19, Labour 17, Conservatives 16, Independents 13 and Lib Dems 12.

BREAKING: A prominent British-Palestinian activist, Professor Kamal Hawwash, has won a seat in the Birmingham City council elections. Hawwash stood as a candidate for the Green Party and won convincingly in Stirchley, making him the first councillor of Palestinian heritage to ever hold a council position in Birmingham.

@NatJPeters Mary was the ONLY one who put any effort into her campaign. I didn't even know who the others were. Sad day for the area

@SeanMcwill57664 @YuteSpod @narrenhut do ‘white people’ have a recent history of being dehumanised, enslaved en masse and killed? you’ll find those that do often have an aversion to dehumanising images, names and what not. you’re welcome.

@bmay can you describe for me a hypothetical scenario tomorrow where you and your centrist ideals have lost the argument? or do you win regardless of what happens? must be nice.

Both parties will do very well on Thursday, of course. But local election protest votes are just that.

If everyone is discussing your party’s anti semitism problem, you have an anti semitism problem, no matter how much you claim you haven’t.

@judeinlondon Am I missing something? Oz said he worked on a production and because you found neither assistant director was him, you say you’ve got a scoop and call him a liar in perpetuity?

@zarahsultana Shame on you bitch! There was no genocide in Gaza! The Chief Prosecutor (and rapist) at the ICC was paid off by Qatar to say so. The only genocide was the attempted one by Hamas on Oct 7. Now fuck off.

I actually care about all human lives Joanne, but I’m wondering if you actually do? Have you mentioned the genocide of Palestinians even once or do their lives not matter to you? Using today's events to score political points is disgusting. Shame on you.

.@zarahsultana I assume this is a different Zarah Sultana MP to the one who was recently filmed clapping along to loudspeaker chants for intifada, on a street in Surrey. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…

@Devin_DeFran @TheTrueXProphet @DGisSERIOUS @EWErickson let’s charitably give you sudan as comparable - ukraine (an extreme minority of non combatants) and yemen (much longer period of time) are obviously nonsense. consider whether playing genocide top trumps is good for your soul. someone saying gaza is bad doesn’t need cliff notes

@TheTrueXProphet @DGisSERIOUS @EWErickson How have you never seen anything like this? Israel’s behavior recently is horrific but it’s not a rare event. if you compare Gaza to other currently ongoing conflicts, far more people have died in the war between Ukraine and Russia, the Yemen civil war and the Sudan civil war.
