@DanPizzaGuy @Eric_Erins It's kind of a long walk, but doable, but a super easy bike ride, with an underpass to the lakefront trail at Argyle. There is so much to see and do. The place needs fixing up but the layout is really great.

@Eric_Erins West and northwest suburbs. There's a ton of native Polish millennials (might have dropped off after Poland joined the EU?) but most of them don't live in the city. Typical American immigrant pattern, move out for the bigger house and quieter neighbors

Always sad to see generational institutions like this close. Where have our Poles gone?

Currently on an 8-mile late night walk on this peaceful evening exploring deep into the North Side. There are some beautiful homes up here. I feel like I'm in Hinsdale or Winnetka. Ravenswood might be the city's best kept secret.

CHICAGO cut much of its street cleaning a couple years ago. This year with the early snow, it’s the worse it has ever been. All the streets full of leaves, soon many closed sewers. CITY of CHICAGO COMPLETELY MISMANAGED : The city continues an a downward spiral with empty storefronts, never ending road construction, increasing taxes, building bump outs & bike lanes. massive retail thief, & violent crime. Much of the blame is on the leadership of the mayor, governor, 50 aldermen, 177 state legislators, county officials, prosecutors, judges, & the media.

nyc is honestly better in most ways but it’s unbelievably expensive while chicago is not (for now). chicago also has alleys that keep trash off the streets and the beaches are in the most densely populated neighborhoods + downtown instead of way out on the edge of the city

The Left can cry about sombrero memes all they want, but the truth is they’re getting clowned while America laughs. Vance is basically saying, “Hakeem, quit the shutdown and we’ll retire the mariachi band.” That’s gangster negotiation — mock your opponent, hold the upper hand, and still leave them a way out if they fold.
