Two unpleasant experiences today.
1 Big man in his 20s/30s suddenly started threatening a young man who was with a female friend on the train I was travelling on. I went to sit next to the victim to protect him and his friend and called the police.
2 Drunk man in his 50s/60s at local store on the south coast throwing his weight around while waiting for the bus.
Both white English men.
Presumably those obsessed with cultural and ethnic identity will tell me I should be worried about white English culture after these two threatening encounters within the space of four hours?

I identify as Somali. I don’t associate with, or accept any of these other labels. We have our own history which goes back 9000 years, our own culture, unique physically, and in the way we look, our own societal norms.

My timeline is suddenly filled with posts along the lines of “We can easily give pensioners a better deal if we cut immigration/scrap DEI/end foreign aid/find some other footling saving.”
Most of them look like bots, which raises the question: Who wants to push this narrative? Some unfriendly foreign power, presumably.
For the avoidance of doubt, of course we should cut immigration, scrap DEI and end foreign aid. But that will barely make a dent in the budget.
The biggest spending items are health and social security, and pensions are the biggest element of this latter.
Politicians who don’t want to tackle these budgets a don’t want to cut spending.
Every British party is currently failing this test.

Paddington Bear’s favourite breakfast spread is being renamed.
Traditional British marmalade must now be labelled “citrus marmalade” under Keir Starmer’s Brexit “reset”.
