I think most Chelsea fans can agree that £117m for Morgan Rogers is an overpay. However, think about what this team has lacked over the last few seasons. TOP level experience, both in the Champions League and in the Premier League. An option on the left-hand side that won’t give Xabi Alonso a headache, because he knows what we’re getting from Morgan. 52 G/A in his last two seasons for Villa, providing the productivity we need. You’re overpaying, but there’s no denying how much he’ll help this Club and his ability to move the needle.

@Tgarratt10 Southgate had tournaments where he got close but didn't win, and people thought he did well, but a better manager is needed. Tuchel had a decent tournament, looking good at times, but then lose one game to the champions, people suddenly say he should leave.

Check out these highlights of France U20 vs NZ U20 from yesterday. 5 of first 6 tries of the game are a non-contested 5m lineout followed by a maul shielding a front rower at the back. This is anti the Union principle of a contest of possession and COMPLETE TACTICAL MONOTONY.

Garnacho has once again proven why, the Chelsea’s transfer model works. Chelsea getting the same fee for Garnacho that we bought him for, and actually profiting on him according to amortisation rules after the last two seasons he’s had, is more proof than ever that the “buy young” with a relatively low base wage works. The reality is, while they’re young and there’s still potential, somebody will always take a shot.

If you have time, PLEASE go watch his interview and listen to how many times he talks about creating a good culture. “Can’t Tame Us” is the motto we’re using this summer and it comes at a really good time, because Xabi needs to turn this Club, the fanbase, and these players into Lions again. King(s) of the jungle. Cucurella wants out? Sold. Santos wants out? Sold. Enzo… If you don’t wanna be here when the ship is rattling, then don’t bother staying around when the ship is thriving.
